I see a lot of fat @rses in that pic. No one can get fat in a genuine collective - food is strictly rationed, and work is compulsory.
Can't disagree, but socialism can and sometimes does utilize euthanasia and "culling of the herd", to reduce costs. And hunger and thirst for true freedom is always lying beneath the surface. It's tough to kill those natural drives generation after generation.
Hitler was a socialist, and Saddam was a socialist, and Stalin was basically a socialist....I'm starting to see a pattern here....
Those kind of odds won't stop those super-smart Antifa kids from letting everyone know they've the intellects, charm, personalities, powers of persuasion and organizational skills to make it work. meh, they come along every generation, know-it-all 20 Somethings. The ones who go on to become know-it-all 40,50,60,70 Somethings are typically the ones who are so outspokenly invested in their own narrow understanding of the world around them, they can't go back...they can't acknowledge or accept that the philosophy and aesthetic they've cultivated for themselves...their very identity... may be absolutely, completely, totally wrong and unworkable....so, they double down.
No no no! Not "communist"! SOCIALIST. I have about 6 links I can post on Mondragon with first-hand looks and data. But here's a "taste"... They are a 60-year old company. They have about 80,000 employees and about a third of them are member-workers. The rest haven't joined yet. Their Articles of Incorporation specify that the highest-paid executive earns no more than 8 times the lowest-paid worker. The workers hire and fire the CEO and the Board of Directors. Half the B.o.D. must be comprised of workers who cycle in and out of the position. Mondragon has its own bank and university. Their members have never been laid off in any economic downturn. Instead they agree to take a reduced pay or take some of their accumulated profits to tide them over. The members vote to decide what do do with the profits each year. And if you want to see some videos and other resources, check here.
$500/mo from the state, probably will be paid with federal funds, since they have none. One class of rich and another of poor, after taxes. Sky high prices. They have some work to do, but they are moving that way as quickly as they can. It's why they are bankrupting the state. They know we will bail them out. It's part of the plan to move toward total socialism in the state.
WHAT the HELL kind of a school did YOU go to?!!!! I never saw nor heard about a Marxist professor or class.
He's referring to Marxist informed and leaning professors, who infest the Humanities. STEM remains relatively free of them, praise Bernie.
I think the official figure is that 98.374% of all college professors in public universities are Marxists - but at least it's not 100%!
Interesting how you guys like to talk about me but run from a civil, intelligent conversation with me.
And within these 'worker co-ops', what percentage are poets? Or activists? Or folk who really just don't want to work for the man?
