Kony is certainly a bad actor, but he's been killing and kidnapping in Sudan for 20 years.

I had similar thoughts. The video seems like a plug for Obama as well.
I strongly sympathize with the video creator's motives. Kony is a bad egg and needs to be brought to justice.
But I believe that the money and awareness from this movement could be put to better use. For example, they could simply hire a few private militias to go over there and find that mother(*)(*)(*)(*)er and annihilate Kony and his LFA. It would get done a lot cheaper and faster that way, and wouldn't cost taxpayers a dime.

I don't believe the US government should be involved. There are other solutions.

So getting behind a corrupt government that's been accused of rape and looting (and has itself recruited child soldiers) is the way to deal with him?

Museveni the president of Uganda has assumed power for over 25 years.. do you think he did that fairly? Hell no! He's a puppet for US oil and Uganda has no choice in it's government other than to be raped by it.

Uganda has thousand more severe issues than Kony. (Who isn't even there) Yet he gets attention because of inflated figures about children. Millions of uninformed children like it on facebook and bam! Another US war over oil. Where Ugandans are still ignored by there government and worse.. wiped out in the 'collateral damage' of the intervention it caused.

Keep the US the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of Uganda!!
