Ku Klux Klan supporters do Nazi salutes at rally in honour of Donald Trump

They're the key voting bloc of the Democratic Party, so they have at least one more month of rioting before the Trump team is confirmed and law and order can finally take its place.

Well, as with most groups, I look to the people who coined the label in the first place and those who self-identify with it in order to determine its meaning. The problem with the above is that there are plenty of other conservatives who seek an alternative to the GOP but who do not mesh with the alt-right at all. Take libertarians like myself. We generally favor fewer immigration restrictions, fewer international trade restrictions, a lowering of defense spending and a whole host of other issues that are diametrically opposed to the self-identified alt-right. Likewise, libertarians tend to focus on individualism while the alt-right's commitments are highly collectivist.

So, if we go back to the people who coined the term to begin with and those who self-identify as as alt-right, there is a pattern of hyper-nationalism and a narrative of white identity politics (especially white victimhood) that emerges. I too sought an alternative to the GOP, but hyper-nationalism and white victimhood don't really appeal to me, and they are things I often criticize, hence I tend to not get along very with with the alt-right.

To put it in Spencer's terms (again, the man who popularized the label): "In some ways the alt-right is arbitrary. I mean, the whole point is that this is a movement of consciousness and identity for European people in the 21st century. That's what it is."

 

Alt-right is the new boogey man, since blacks started assassinating cops, they couldn't blame 'sovereign citizens' anymore. Alt-right is so broad and unspecified it can and does mean anything liberals don't like, can't explain, or just want to cry about...

Did I say they collectively were? Perhaps you don't recall when liberals were whining about potential right wing terror, they added 'sovereign citizens' to the list for killing cops. Oddly enough, liberals haven't mentioned terrorism when blacks assassinate cops. Funny how that works, or not, just run of the mill liberal hypocrisy...

Breitbart or Fox won't tell you about those cop killings by whites though, because that won't get you guys to the polls. They know what drives the right wing zombies to the polls, and stories of EVIL blacks "misbehaving" is a huge factor.

Hilarity Clinton will never understand how badly she shot herself in the foot when she self-righteously started condemning all these people she branded as "deplorables". The first thing I wanted to do after I heard that was to have a custom t-shirt made saying something like, "DEPLORABLE! And damned proud of it!" Poor hyperlibs! They only had one weapon left, but they overused it so badly that it has no effect anymore, except on their fellow "true-believers"....

Remember that day 2 or 3 weeks ago when all on one day FOUR separate attacks on police occurred with some deaths and "your" side immediately blamed BLM? As it turned out, two of the shooters were white and one was of mixed race. Strangely, those threads quickly died when it was reported who carried out those attacks - yep quickly forgotten unlike the threads where a black man is the actual attacker and the thread often reaches its limit.

 

Cop lives only matter to right wing idiots when it can be used for political purposes...whites killing cops does nothing for their race baiting agenda.

And those deaths are tragic no matter what the color of the killers skin is. There's a difference though when it is an organized effort directed and encouraged by a terrorist group like blm. At no point in time has ANYONE tried to excuse whites that kill cops IN ANY WAY. They are scum same as any other murderers and deserve to hang just like any other murderers. And your a fool if you don't see the connection with blm and the surge of black racism and violence.
