Someone walking around with a rifle would be a crime, most certainly in my neighborhood.

Are you sure of that? Could you identify the specific criminal statute they'd be tried for? I only ask because most states allow open carry:

Perhaps you're in one of the few that don't, but I've seen enough people making ignorant claims of law in this thread that I think a little verification is in order.

ETA: in glancing at your profile, it says, "Grew up in CT, moved to NJ, now in MD". Assuming you're still in Maryland, you should know that it is legal to open-carry with a license (which are difficult, but not impossible, to obtain). Conveniently, for my argument, Maryland actually calls them "Wear and Carry" permits

Doubt if that's gonna "take him down", but hey at least it's legal and perhaps it'll help you feel good about yourself.

Who (specifically) has been making "ignorant clams"?

That seems to be rather dismissive (and insulting) of opinions that you disagree with.

    What "ignorant" claims?

Any specific examples (in this thread)?

    Do tell. I'll wait.

So all of that to say you couldn't find anything in support of something originated on Facebook.

Let me know when you do. Excuse me if you do.

    Here's a prominent one:
    And another one:
There was also that nonsense about the OK sign earlier:
And if @StillBlue has the integrity I think he does, he'll be along shortly to apologize for these claims too:

    <COMMENTS EDITED>

Patriot and Hero Kyle got separated from his group due to the violent actions of an angry mob.

And then, he was facing the angry and violent mob who were now directing their anger solely at him.

What was Kyle the Hero and Patriot suppose to do?

Lay down his firearm and put up his dukes?

18-year-olds can go to bars? I don't think so...

Only if you live in CA, NY, MA, IL, and handful of other states where the gun-grabbers have stripped the citizens of their constitutional rights. It is absolutely not a criminal offense to carry a rifle in public in Wisconsin. It would be a crime to "take someone down" aka assault.

No, all that was to explain why you were wrong when you claimed that the court records were "fake" or "does not exist in reality". That you're doubling down here is disappointing, but I guess not all that surprising. How do we know that CR20021139 is a real court case in Arizona involving Joseph Rosenbaum sexually assaulting minors? We know that because the Arizona Department of Corrections has online records about Inmate # 172556, a.k.a. Joseph D. Rosenbaum, who was incarcerated in 2002 for 12.5 years for "SEXUAL CONDUCT W/ MINOR". You can look that up yourself right here: Inmate Datasearch | Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry (az.gov)

and if you do, you'll note that the "Court Cause #" listed for his first offense is "20021139". That's online and easy to verify. What's not online, from an official source at least, are the nitty gritty details of his child molesting. To get an official copy, you'd have to contact the Pima County Superior Court because, as noted on their website and by me earlier, those records have not been digitized and presented online by the court. Various people have contacted the court, obtained copies, and posted the nitty gritty details of his rape of young boys online. You've refused to accept those for reasons I can't fathom. Perhaps you're a NAMBLA advocate. Perhaps you just like defending child molesters. Perhaps you just don't deal well when reality conflicts with your worldview. Who knows.

Joseph Rosenbaum raped little boys. The world is a better place without him in it.

Taking down an idiot that walks into an unknown neighborhood with a rifle would make me feel good.

And tell me how many of those who violently attacked Kyle knew he wasn't in his own neighborhood?

BS, only idiots would do that. As far as the crime it would depend on the situation. If the idiot was just only walking, then just give it to the police.

Ahhh, New Jersey then. Well, it's also legal to open carry with a (rare and difficult to obtain) permit in New Jersey.

Uhh ok was the convicted FELON with a pistol also unlawfully possessing a firearm? You're not going to win cherry picking this attack.

Nice you get called out for stating falsehoods and you call those correcting you yet again a bigot.

"A lawyer for Kyle Rittenhouse, the U.S. teenager charged with fatally shooting two protesters during protests in Wisconsin..."

    Let me fix that...

"A lawyer for Kyle Rittenhouse, the U.S. teenager charged with fatally shooting two violent attackers who were assaulting him during protests in Wisconsin..."

I wonder if Rosenbaum and Huber thought the same thing. Grosskreutz is still alive. Maybe you can ask him if it made him feel good:

Doesn't look like it to me, but YMMV.

Moving the goalposts. I stated it is not a crime to carry a rifle in public in those jurisdictions, and that it is a crime to "take someone down" (as you suggested). Do you dispute these facts?
