    Entirely true.

    Tell you what- instead of convincing us to adopt more gun control, maybe you should start by convincing us that our govt isn't corrupt (and therefore wouldnt use gun control ineffectively or more likely use it corruptily).

    Coun tries are ranked for corruption by the cia. I am on my phone and can't get it now but Russia and mexico rank high for corruption. The US ranks very low. Not that you v will believe me

    Yes, I will 'complain' about those sources as well, as will most of your gun grabbing compatriots in any thread about Trump.

    Though when speaking on gun control, our government is suddenly trustworthy, straightforward, honest and bubbling over with integrity, would never misuse the power of more strict gun regulations.

    Can you see the logic problem here?

    Not that I recall. You, iirc, are very loyal to our government, its legitimacy and trustworthiness.

    The problem here is about 99% of your ideological peers when it comes to the issue of gun control. They'll scream all day about the Trump admin being Putins lapdog, Wall Street buying our representatives out from under us, out of control cops abusing authority (and I certainly dont disagree on some of the aforementioned issues)...

    ...but it doesn't make sense to give the government they're talking about a stronger monopoly on the use of deadly force.

    In short, the leftist propaganda machine is your biggest logical hurdle to gun control right now. If you truly want gun reform, you might might to start there instead of banging your head against the wall of pro-gun advocates.
