Do you think Trump fans realize that?

If corporations are people, then why is Victoria's Secret not getting many dates? Those Brooks Brothers, such sharp dressers but bam, on the skids like their pal from across the tracks, J.C. Penney.

Can you 'splain to me if corporations are people, then why are all those I've named doing so badly? You make it sound like they and all other corporations would be huge successes. On the other hand, once they do become successful, then leftists spin on a tax dime and howl for more baksheesh.

They opened that door, and now November winds blow icy cold. If the Dems pass such a bill in anticipation they'd win but then can't hold the House, that will become the dictionary definition of Epic Democrat. They do two things well. Getting it wrong and making it worse.

It's been thirty whole seconds and those factories aren't back here and good union jobs forced on employers! Don't those right wingers know anything about modern business?

Can anyone 'splain to me how libs WANTED to reduce workloads with robotics, and found the robots didn't really cut jobs but did boost accuracy. This meant faster production. At piece-rate joints it meant more money.

Now the fact is, ain't nobody makin' as many babies as we used to. Fewer workers make robots more necessary and attendant salaries higher for trained workers. But now it's a concern, if the companies come back but are leaner, more modernized and workforce better-trained. The problem? Why won't they hire back the deadwood they got shed of by leaving? Unions piously assure us all lost jobs were held by saints.

I had a temp job once at a Ford plant where one worker had a bell set up on his machine and let the machine spit out parts while he got about $35/hour to nap on a nearby pallet...and the union backed him. Is that the sort we need for the 21st Century, or the ones who tell Robby the Robot what to do and he does it.

Right. Ignore how long it takes to find suitable space back home (the old places were probably sold or rented to others), then negotiate with local authorities for special needs (power, water, highway access above and beyond existing crossroads for only one example). Let's start with the basics. WHERE? Can you even find good labor where you think you might like to relocate? If not, why bother?

Oh that research, you can whip it out in twenty seconds. Modern age! Know everything in an instant, right?

Then there's the equipment itself. Does Joe X at the head of ABQ decide to leave the existing stuff "over there," and start fresh here, or do they ship their existing gear to here again? How? Who does it?

So go ahead and dismiss what you clearly do not have a single clue to understand.

This gives me license to reply in kind, I take it. Nor in yours.

All you're doing is excusing the fact that Trump has brought virtually NO jobs back to this country

Excusing, my eye. Clinton would have been just as "slow" at this, assuming her tax policies would have been more conducive to corporate repatriation. You cannot prove otherwise since higher taxes drove those companies offshore anyway. It was nothing personal but they had boards of directors and shareholders to answer to. Cheaper overseas labor won out over U.S.-made quality (while it lasted).
