Less than half of Americans can name Canadas capital

This month, after the election, Harpar made a speech where he said that everyone in Canada had to come together, even the people who didn't vote for him.

It's the same stuff you'd hear in the USA, pleadings for concilliation.

I guess I'm on the other end of things.

In most respects, it seems like Canada does a better job of handling things than us. Granted, I'm going by statistics and the experiences of others. I don't have any personal experience with Canada, so I suppose that might help in getting an accurate view.

Anyway, maybe we can trade places someday.

Hey... it's public education that was created to grow public sector unions and Democratic Party money and influence. Of course the education system is crap.

But, since it is a Democratic Party power base it seems all the lockstep liberals will never look to truly change it significantly for the betterment of the actual children, teachers, or parents.

as far as education goes - minus canadians not knowing (*)(*)(*)(*) about their own country..we excel in science, reading, writing & math

 

whats the difference? they are both total non issues. admit it: the only reason why we, canadians know so much about the u.s.- can name every state, a handfull of their presidenst, and so on, is the U.S.A is the best country in the world. why? They believe in independents which creats strength for the people to not get held back by government- although lately, their government has been growing which is why they are struggling hard lately.
