Let's talk about Melania Trump (first lady?)

You sound a little angry and bitter...Bill Clinton's philanderings are a hard act to follow.

 

I'm surprised at some of the liberal women's views on her. Melania should be a perfect first lady for them. Is she not feminism at it's finest?
Seems to me she fits the liberal Hollywood, music industry types to a tee. Criticizing her as a bad example for your kids...really? That is the funniest thing I've heard in a while. Your hypocrisy is on par with the religious people you accuse of being, well hypocrites.

I have seen interviews with her and she was intelligent. I was pleasantly surprised. A classy first lady is important to me. She may not be as classy as some of the past first ladies, but I would choose her over Bill any day.

 

She won't be first lady. Therefore, she cannot be a great one.

Do you have any youtube video you could post of Melania speaking? Like I said, I've never heard her speak so I could not speak of her intelligence. Perhaps you should have read my posts a little more carefully before going off on a rant and making claims that aren't true.

Melania doesn't seem gross or racist to me; but your own post paints you as being gross and racist, judging by the the words you use. I've found this to be true of many if not most liberals; that they are a very obnoxious, racist, bigoted, and mean spirited lot. Thanks for reconfirming it.

 

Yeah, but I was looking for some good comedy too. It's just Melania Trump. I thought it would be interesting to see if people thought she was a classy woman and I am interested in trying to determine how much of this approval is due to pure partisanship versus how many people actually admire this woman . . . for some reason.

I watched a little bit of this video (I'm sure not watching it for 20 minutes!), and she seems nice (of course she's on television), but smart? I don't know about that. Most of the questions are about The Donald that I saw. Is there a particular minute in the video I should go to?

It's a topic I'd not thought much about, but on reading -your- thread on it that -you- apparently felt enough intellectual or emotional reasons to make, some false chords in how we are manipulated by media came to mind not necessarily having to do with you or the thread.

The choices for "first person" in the WH will be either Melania Trump or Bill Clinton. Do you think Melania Trump will use her office in the WH to commit de jure sexual harassment and stick cigars up young interns during working hours? Do you think she will commit rape, cover it up, get sued by her victims, pay them off or try to ruin them? Do you think Melania will lie to the entire American people, and then lie under oath about doing such? Has Melania been disbarred in her home country or state or the equivalent? Was Melania deeply in debt 20 years ago and then inexplicably made tens of millions of dollars paid in fees by groups and companies who had received political favors in the past?

She earned millions of dollars for the equivalent of having pictures taken in her underwear. Those kinds of pictures are in every fashion magazine available, and just as suggestive. A hostile media is cherry-picking the most low class looking of what are likely hundreds of thousands of pictures SHE WAS PAID VERY WELL FOR over a modeling career. I would wager such pictures exist of any other well-loved model, Cindy Crawford, Heidi Klum, etc., esp. current Victoria's Secret models. Is modeling by definition, "low class?" I don't think so. Compare MT to the alternative and maybe gain some valuable perspective. I can't think of anything more disgusting morally than having Bill Clinton back in the WH in any capacity, and wonder at how many women out there were/are so willing to give that proven scumbag POS every break imaginable. Are women who could even conceive of Bill Clinton back in the WH that easily manipulated?

I'm sure people will defend Melania along party lines the same as Bill is defended.
I don't know whether I would consider her classy or not. Like many things it probably means something different to each person. I don't, however, think she's classy the same as say, Laura Bush.
The 'racy' photos aren't desirable in a first lady, IMO. But it is what it is.

 

the main thing to worry about with Melania Trump is that she doesn't act masculine, that is a place reserved for the bull of the relationship and she knows her place and rightfully so unlike you know who.
