If this is going to devolve into a characterization of taxation as theft then I'm done. There's really no point in us even trying to talk to each other.

 

It's the opposite of affirmative action. Affirmative action says that if there seems to be a huge racial disparity in a company that gets money from the government, they have to explain why that is. This program is saying that if more than half of the black kids fail, that's okay, whereas it's cause for alarm if more than a fifth of the Asian kids fail.

Again this isn't about helping or hurting African-Amercans. This is about keeping open schools that do a (*)(*)(*)(*) poor job of educating black kids.

There are several reasons poor African-Americans appear to do poorly in school.

1st and top of the list is what I call crab pot mentality and please note it doesn't just infest african American culture but all cultures everwhere to a greater or lesser extent. It is why Jesus said, "A prophet is only with out honor in his home town."

Getting beat up because you got an A on a test is the result of crab pot thinking. Thinking some one else is making you look bad is crab pot, Telling a kid he's acting white for using proper English, that's crab pot. All that has and will continue to happen until some one makes it clear to the crabs that their behavior won't be tolerated. A cat can keep a drug ring in an inner city running for five or six years without doing time in the slammer isn't stupid. You can argue about his ethical base but he certainly isn't stupid.

The AA is more like this: I don't give two sheds what company or institution you are, but, are you hiring/admitting enough proportion of black people?

 

Nah, its because rich people think they are better than everyone else...........therefore they are able to structure laws and regulations that allow them to pay 15% on their income(capital gains), while most everyone else pays a much higher rate. All racial and ethnic groups have the same human material to work with. If the state wishes to help black students it should let them be adopted by Asian parents. But if the black kids are raised in the culture of the black underclass the kids will probably be lost.

But have you given low-tax, flat-tax and a small government some some consideration?

And how would your gigantic government and high tax rate work for you while punishing the rich, considering the fact that government is already working for the rich?

The usa public school system is totaly broken if they need to do crap like this. Or it may be an indication of the trend for the future of the world. America can only hide behind how smart they think they are only for so long. eventualy the world is going to know just how sutpid Americans realy are and how much smarter the rest of the world realy is.
