One, the GOP doesnt equate black people to entitlements or crime.

Two, you know who equates cutting welfare TO EVERYONE as a racist plot to hurt minorities?

Three, entitlements are SS, medicaid, and VA benefits. Welfare is not an ENTITLEment, its a hand out.

I judge people on merit or lack of, is why I used the word "Them". I am not a Republican or Democrat. It is evident to me that the religious progressives have targeted minorities in a power grab and count on that voting base. Simple.

The more I learn about the religious progressive movement the less I trust.

When the "true GOP" members denounce or call out the "fringe", then we can talk about not grouping people in a box. If that is not the message they want to portray, then why keep silent?

Perhaps you should watch the entire video, because his black guests have the same concerns, are they considered racist by you as well?

 

Uniting? We had Obama, the first bi-racial president, above all else could have untied this country and brought all races together, instead, he divided them even more.

Exactly, if they cant control the minority groups the party is/ has nothing. It thrives on keeping people in fear of the imaginary white party, the more people they can fit into minority/ victim groups the better for them. Provided they can maintain the boogie man on the other side they must be scared of. Black/ minority conservatives are a huge risk to that narrative.

Not at all, that is why I explained my position between you and I. I am very clear on my position, no doublespeak. I was introducing it as more than just blacks. Maybe it would have been better for me to use minority.

I come down on the side of "dishonesty"....although given the mention of Sean Hannity, who is possibly the stupidest of the RW talkers, I'm willing to be proven wrong.

I think it's mostly cognitive dissonance. They compartmentalize in their own minds their smears and insults and demeaning comments about blacks....and then say "Look! Look! I love Ben Carson (before that Cain, before that West, before that Steele, before that Watts, before that Keyes).....I'm no racist!" And they go back to "Black hoods beat up an old white person" or the bizarre "Blacks are racists because they don't want to hang out with white guys like me who call them racists!"

It's not about convincing African-Americans to vote Republican....Carson is just the "face" for the segment (He'll be replaced in less than 3 years, maybe two or one). It's not even about trying to convince others outside the Right and GOP that they aren't the home for racists.....nobody's buying it not Indy or moderate whites, certainly not minorities.

No, it's simply about talking to THEMSELVES (again, note the source...the Echo Chamber of Fox News, i.e. Hannity) and trying to convince each other that somehow "it's the blacks' fault for not standing with us....just because we call them lazy or stupid!"

 

The black people I know and am friendly with, make good money, are well educated, and live prodcutive lives. Their politics are varied and in no way, shape or form even come close to your projections, let alone Hannity.

 

Fine, if we are going to play that game, how about the same holds true for the "true dems" who dont denounce the MANY fringe leftist groups and pundints? There are many more leftist groups that are openly racist than the right and the right expells those fringe elements from their rallies. You see this all the time with the TEA party rallies. You heard the GOP denounce anyone that was never proven to have spit on the congressman.

Obama stands with the NBP, La Raza, Code Pink, and supports the Muslim Brotherhood.
