    Since so many are at or below the poverty line - what say you about incentives like a “baby bonus” that would assist new mothers? Free and accessible childcare? Increase in funding for infants and toddlers?

    We have crisis pregnancy centers and faith based charities that help to deal with the health of the mother and the baby and for them both after birth. Notice that those were the number one targets of the militant agitators for baby killing

    As mandated reporters it most certainly is their role legally. There’s no excuse for defying mandated reporter laws. I’ve been a mandated reporter since I was 25 and still am. If I didn’t report something I should have I would lose my job, face $1,000 fine, and or up to six months in jail.

    Really? It’s California state law. Anyone working with children in any capacity is mandated by the state to report anything a minor says or we suspect based on circumstances. Having been in education, counseling of at risk youth since age 25 and as a licensed foster parent, I have been under that law my entire post college working career.

    Is this law in every state? They also state “dependent adult”. Some street kids are not “dependent adults” they are capable of making their own decisions

    Being against abortion has NOTHING to do with the the "unborn" or their lives. Christians are known to HATE illegitimate children, calling them "bastards" as a fighting insult. The entirety of being against abortion is about punishing a woman for having sex, everything else is smoke and mirrors, I doubt very much that even the Christians believe it.

    Dependent adults in this context are seniors or disabled requiring the care of others. Street smart kids are still not adults and can not legally give consent to sex with an adult. Are you opposed to statutory rape laws that protect kids from predatory grooming adults?

    But the rationale for FGM is that it reduces the pleasure a female can have with sex ergo a woman will not seek it out but be more amenable and faithful to any husband

    More likely a fake story

    Women get unwanted pregnancies for hundreds of different reasons.
    But some men want to dictate the lives of women they've never met.
