How ironic, though, that the Trumpists were so eager to see Trump destroy Biden in a debate.

Virtually all national polls give Biden victory.

I called this in advance. In a thread here about expectations for the debate, I said, low level mudslinging fight but one thing will be clear: the Trump campaign talking point that Biden is demented will get exposed.

It's pretty clear that Biden "won" the debate in a sense, although it was such a low level debate that nobody really won; the nation lost.

I have come to the conclusion that on-the-whole a person's longevity is down to individual genetic coding rather than much of anything that happens to a person throughout their lifetime. I don't mean genetics, by the way. I am talking more about the coin toss invovled in individual genetic wiring; why one twin will come down with cancer or topple over at some point from heart disease while another will seldom get sick over the course of a lifespan. Some of the people who spent their existence punishing their bodies, turn out to live the longest, barring walking out in front of a bus. You just never know.

 

Attacking the other guy's family is far more vile and disgusting than calling someone a clown. Not even in the same universe.

I said it was a "good move," not that I support it.

I would have made a different comment that would not have involved name-calling. It might have been less successful than calling Trump a "clown" and telling him to "shut up," but I would have taken the high road.

Well which is it you criticize Trump for taking the low road but when Biden does its a good move? Trump was responding to Biden.

 

No it's not when the member of the family was engaged in corruption due to their parents political connections and we can expect more if the parent wins and certainly does not excuse the vile FALSE name calling in which Biden engaged.

I was in Germany in January 1986 for a REFORGER, I was surprised there were blacks in Germany.

Now there's quite a few in some major cities. Approx 10% in some cities in Germany.

 

Trump was spoiling for a fight, as usual.

 

Europe is changing, but folks I know who travel through Europe still react to how "white" much of Europe is.
