    Born and raised in Southern California. Lived in Napa, moved to Oregon. Spend part of the year in Canada, part in the US of A.

    I'm not worried because the guy made a blowhard comment.

    Trump will be gone on January 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM EST. If he tries to pull something, the military will remove his fat butt.

    Maybe we would be better off with trendy Trudeau as President.

    Corporate tax rates here are very low compared to the rest of the world. We have very low personal tax rates, too.

    There are plenty who want the taxes raised dramatically, and then redistribute the wealth. There is even a thread on PF about raising certain taxes to 99%.

    The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Article VI says:

    "This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."​
    SCOTUS said the Constitution gives people rights that include marrying someone of your sex and the right to obtain an early-term abortion.
    Careful about voting on basic rights. Guns might be limited to militias.
    Not a Crazy Bernie fan.

    Read the 10th Amendment. Scotus also gave us the Dred Scott opinion.

    You just agree with Scotus when it suits your political position. Hence your reference to guns.

    If that particular treaty were to be enforced all of SD west of the Missouri and into Wyoming would revert to the Oglala. Then if the rest of the Indian treaties were likewise enforced all US citizens would be landless people without a country, except for the Indian nations.

    Plus, this dam on Seneca land might have to be drilled for explosives and blown up, depending on what the Seneca say:

    No, the treaty would not put all of SD West of Missouri in the hands of the Oglala. Even if it did, that would be the law. Why your disdain for the law? The Constitution puts this land in the hands of the Oglala. What would it take to get you to respect the Constitution? Doesn't take much for me. Why so much for you?
