It's November 7th. Your candidate of choice has just lost the presidential election.

How do you expect you will interact amongst the PF population when all the "Neener, neeners" start flying at you?

How will you react to those who copy and paste your previous pre-election posts stating that, without a doubt, your candidate had the election in the bag and those who do not realize it are stupid retards? How will it feel to be the stupid retard instead?

How many of you have kept your words sweet enough to eat should that time come next Wednesday?

What kind of mood will you be in? Will you be crying "foul?" Will you demand a recount?

Will you graciously conceed and welcome the next American President?

I so look forward to that day.

Since I just arrived here, I'm not sure.

However, I do expect President Obama will win by a margin that is significantly larger than what the polls suggest. The reasoning is rather simple and straight forward. None of the polling done has properly sampled the Hispanic/Latino vote and not only are their number larger than in 2008, but in the little polling done on them thus far, they are leaning very heavily in favor of the President for a second term in office. So, I think a lot of these National Poll numbers that showed Romney, gaining ground a few weeks ago and that has now basically vanished with this late surge moving in the President's direction, none of that ever got the pulse of the Hispanic/Latino members of the electorate.

President Obama, has re-closed (for the second time) the Women gap on Romney. Whatever Romney, got out of that first debate, has been reversed through debates two and especially three. So, the Women are now coming back to Obama. Obama, still lags among White Men, but he was always going to lag among that group in 2012, no matter how well or how poorly he did as President.

That leaves Seniors and the Youth. Seniors, like Women, were moving towards Romney, after the first debate - but more slowly than Women, have basically frozen their roll back towards Obama. However, Sandy, has changed that completely. Seniors, will not begin to roll back to Obama, not in droves but enough to give him an edge on the 6th. The see his response to Sandy, as very Presidential, and heartfelt and that will bring some of them back to earth, especially when they start to calculate Romney's campaign statement about Privatizing FEMA functions, or pushing them back to the States. The Youth has always and will continue to always be one of Obama's strongest supporting groups. He's simply a Young Voters choice for President, no matter who you stack him up against.

I don't see this race being "tight" as CNN wants to make it, or as the Romney pollsters want to make it. I just think that Romney's strategy of saying different and contradictory things to groups of people in different parts of the country and then allowing the local media to deliver the repetitious portions of his speech and/or statements, has finally caught up with him.

He got away with that for a very long time and it did allow him to pick-up a sizable number of national vote - because he was saying things that each group wanted to hear - banking on the fact that in many parts of the country, people still don't watch a lot of Cable News. So, when people turn on the news, there were basically seeing Romney, say exactly what that part of the country wanted to hear. Unfortunately, for Romney, the campaign spans more than two (2) years and eventually, you are going to run out of time using that strategy at some point, especially when you bring more attention to yourself with implausible statements and outright lies - such as those regarding Chrysler, lately.

When Chrysler, itself, comes out to rebuff comments you make about what their long range strategy is for manufacturing and jobs - then you really do bring unwanted attention to many other statements that you have made along the way that also were not true and/or direct contradictions in what you said previously. That is where the Media is right now, even the Local Media in all these places where he's said one thing to one group, while changing his statement for another group.

In the meantime, you now have the powerful imagery of Christie, who was just walking up and down campaign rally ramps with Romney, while blasting Obama, now walking through storm ravished portions of the country giving praise to Obama, for his non-partisan handling of Sandy. That is a very powerful reversal of imagery that nobody has to say anything to hype it - its real and its very strongly favoring Obama, right now. Obama, has been out there "Leading" and being "Presidential," while Romney, has been seen as faking photo ops by having his staff go out to purchase supplies and then lining them up and handing them out to people that come to his rallies, before heading off to the Red Cross. It just all comes off a bit phony and in a time of real crisis, people see through that kind of pretense.

Expect to see an ever larger gap opening up in Ohio, for Obama. As far as Virginia, goes - I am surprised because I really did not think that Obama, would keep that state. Obama, is once again in the lead in Virginia, and if that is the case - this race is just about over. When you toss in the fact that Florida, has now turned up for Obama, once again - this late in the race. We could be looking at light out for Romney, in as little as the next three (3) days.

I shudder at the thought of 4 more years of obama, but I suspect I will grab my bow and go deer hunting. One can forget all about the election sitting in a tree stand and observing the wildlife.

Now THAT sounds like a plan. I was thinking about fishing myself. But it is getting a bit nippy outside. A little bow huntin' may just be what the doctor ordered. Thanks for the idea.

I don't think I've ever definitively stated that Romney is going to win, so I don't think I'll be eating too many words. Maybe Iriemon can refresh my memory, since he saves everything I type in a word document on his desktop.

I barely have any faith in the American people as is. If Obama wins, I will lose that faith completely. The good news is that the total collapse will occur during Obama's term, and all of this phony "recovery" news being thrown at us will prevent people from blaming Bush. It'll be Obama's to own, but he won't care. Hopefully that will doom liberals and the Democrat party for many decades, until they successfully flood the US with brown people from down South and set up a permanent voting bloc, just like they've done with blacks. At that point, there's nothing left to hope for besides the complete dissolution of the Union, with different groups setting up their own rule on this once proud land.
