Are you implying that some people just happened to drop by a memorial and randomly shoot 13 people they didn’t know? Are the statistically probable black people that dangerous?

 

So if this was 13 white people shot in the same manner, with as much detail, would you have posted it?

Something tells me the answer is NO.

 

I think that's going to be the working assumption.... most mass shootings are not going after specific targets...

But we have 4000 posts in a thread about a single black man being shot.

 

My guess is the shooters were probably there to take care of business with just one or two people they knew.

Would I even get a chance to? Odds are that I wouldn't be able to escape the story if I tried, provided that there was a screen of some sort in the vicinity. Absolutely forget about it if the shooter could somehow be tied to Trump, the NRA, the GOP, NASCAR, mayonnaise... you know, any of that sort of stuff.

Yes, I've intentionally brought this incident to light for political reasons. That's kinda what we do here. This incident and the incident in Georgia are indeed unrelated... geographically... but both contain a couple elements (black people and guns) which the left leaning media and progressives react differently to depending on circumstances, and how the incident can be used as political ammunition.

It's definitely not. There's a clear delineation in how left leaning media and progressives react where this topic is concerned.

I'd be happy if the story were that an individual at the memorial prevented a mass shooting with their own weapon. That'd be great news.

Well, someone has to do the reacting. If not, people don't hear about certain things, while hearing a whole lot about other things, all the while unaware that they don't even need bias confirmation, because they're being force fed... while probably projecting on to others that which they claim to oppose.

Get celebrities and their ridiculous (and undeserving) amount of influence to comment on it with hyperbolic nonsense like blacks have to worry about being hunted by whites now.

Then watch as the young, uninformed, easily influenced, and overly emotional flock to the outrage machine while not even realizing whites are killed by blacks more often than the reverse.
