That number is 62,000 higher than the official count of coronavirus deaths for that period. Higher-than-normal death rates are now widespread across the country; only Alaska and Hawaii, states outside the contiguous United States, show numbers that look similar to recent years.

 

Probably due to not seeking medical care and suicides.

 

So did Herman Caine not seek medical care or was he a suicide?

 

He was dying of stage 4 colon cancer for years. He wasn't a covid-19 death but I'm sure they counted it like that. That's where these fake numbers come from. He died in a hospital so, yeah, he did seek medical attention.

 

Caine's own staff confirmed he was hospitalized and died from Covid - not cancer.

CLAIM: Herman Cain died as a result of stage 4 colon cancer, not COVID-19.

ASSESSMENT: False. The GOP presidential candidate, who was a colon cancer survivor, died from coronavirus complications.

THE FACTS: Herman Cain, a Republican presidential candidate in 2012 and former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, died on July 30, four weeks after being hospitalized for COVID-19. He was 74.

Dan Calabrese, the editor of Cain’s website, announced Cain’s death on hermancain.com.

“We knew when he was first hospitalized with COVID-19 that this was going to be a rough fight,” reads Calabrese’s statement. “He had trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. We all prayed that the initial meds they gave him would get his breathing back to normal, but it became clear pretty quickly that he was in for a battle.”

A July 2 statement on Cain’s Twitter account said Cain had tested positive for coronavirus on June 29 and was hospitalized. The same statement called Cain, “a fighter who has beaten Stage 4 cancer.”

Cain was diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer in 2006 and recovered from it. Even so, some social media users are erroneously claiming colon cancer was the true cause of Cain’s death.

“I just found out that Herman Cain died from stage 4 colon cancer they marked him as a covid-19 death. How can we believe anything they tell us about covid-19,” reads a widely viewed but inaccurate post on Facebook.

His system was weaked because he was dying of cancer. He shouldn't have been going out with his co-morbidity. But that's how they jack up the covid-19 numbers.
