SO, if a raped and impregnated woman is seriously injured and traumatized she damn well better come to her senses and decide BEFORE 15 weeks if she wants to abort her rapist's ZEF....

Otherwise Repubs say, "Screw her AGAIN!. She should have to be PUNISHED for being raped"

talking about the effects a law will have on rape victims before such a law is appoved is very on topic

Do you want to discuss the specific topic of the Supreme Court and Abortion, or not?

I think the Supreme Court should take into account the effect this will have on rape victims, don't you?

NOT off topic....restrictive abortion laws AFFECT raped and impregnated women...

:) Why are you trying so hard to avoid it?

I know righties NEVER want to think ahead, think of what will happen , think things through.....but restricting abortion DOES AFFECT ALL impregnated women....NOT just the ones who had consensual sex(the rights main target)

I notice that pro-choicers in this forum always do that.

When the argument isn't going their way, they'll try to bring up some different argument in the same thread.
Then claim "It's not off-topic because it's about abortion", even though the opening post in the thread wasn't about that.

We then end up arguing over something for half the thread that wasn't even on what the opening post was about.

Ironically I have tried to bring up the issue of abortion & rape, in a special thread, but even there pro-choicers tried to derail the topic into something else.

anti-choicers just don't like to think of the effects of them denying people the right to choose for themselves

this is a personal choice, not one for you or I to make or the government for others

Thanks for not junking up the comments with a torrent of blanks spaces.
All I can say is that was some strange things to say to me.

Folks to make my statement clear, I was saying Democrats that love abortions had years and years to pass actual laws to legalize abortions.

this is on topic, just cause you don't like thinking about the effects restrictive laws like these will have on people, doesn't make it off topic

this is the perfect place to talk about the effects of such laws and why the SC should not overturn roe vs wade

You know, I don't think it's possible for us to have a coherrent discussion about anything. You all seem to think any thread posted in the abortion section is about abortion, so you feel like any topic related to abortion will go.

If we turn every thread into a general debate about all aspects of abortion, I don't think we're going to get anywhere.

So you'll have to excuse me if I just ignore you. (And encourage everyone else reading this to do so too)

She has not mentioned the rules of the Supreme court nor my saying to abortion supporters, you have had decades to make new laws. Nobody stopped you.

anti-choicers and pro-choicers may never agree, so best to let people choose for themselves

if you don't want an abortion, don't get one - pro-choice supports your choice

This is a reminder of the actual topic.

I have many times told Democrats if they do not want Abortion laws changed, create laws that are constitutional.
Hell no I am told by Democrats. The Supreme court makes law.

We now will see them doing just that.

DUH, you don't know how to use the "backspace" key????

Which, as usual, has NOTHING to do with the post of mine you quoted...
LOLOLOL .When Anti-Choicers can't face facts they have LOTS of excuses :) They'll try to avoid any argument when they have no answers :)

we are discussing why the SC should strike down this law, it's unconstitutional to force rape victims to have their rapists baby

And you've been told that NO Democrat says the Supreme court makes laws...

However , YOU DO ...here's a sentence from your OP: ""The Supreme court makes law.""

Yeah, so if I start another thread about abortion & rape, are you actually going to discuss that, or are you just going to try to derail the thread with yet another off-topic argument yet again?

The people have not chosen for themselves. A court decided for them.
However since the SC is not there to create law, now is the time for the public to actually create laws.

That is incorrect. My remark you used is meant to say that Democrats accept the Supreme Court makes law.
