No, they executed a pre-dawn tactical raid. They knew the guy wasn't going to surrender and they took advantage of that to justify killing him, or, they're just too incompetent to figure another way to take him into custody.

Yeah, I think that's why he mentioned something about having guns if they came there again. I think he said something about when they "came back." And, like you said before, it sounds like the gave him the chance to peacefully surrender. He chose violence. His death is on him. My heart goes out to the agent or agents who had to pull the trigger. I've heard from people like that. Even when justified, it sticks with you.

 

They knew he wouldn't comply with an order that he was legally required to comply with . . . and so it is their fault he didn't comply? I'm trying to think of something dumber I've read today, and I just can't think of anything. Why is your solution that he should have just been allowed to keep violating the law with impunity?

Definitely. I'll even allow for the possibility that the agents were at fault. I've seen footage of unjustified shootings before. But until I see evidence to the contrary, after all of the **** I've already seen this guy saying, I have to assume for the moment that the shooting was justified. I won't say he "deserved it," because I've been informed that's against forum rules, but I will say it appears justified.

 

As of 2021 DOJ said that Federal LEOs serving warrants would be required to wear body cameras. If the camera footage is released we will know what to think. If it is not released, one could assume the official story lacks veracity.

They were ordered by Biden to wear body cameras. Of course that was an order probably intended as CYA for arrests involving a certain demographic. Interesting that the Democrat George Floyd Justice in Policy Act would have only imposed body camera requirements on uniformed Federal LEOs. Wonder why that was?
