Yes we know. Any study that conflicts with the cults beliefs is **** and doesn't deserve to be peer reviewed. Also comes in handy for true believers to say " show me peer reviewed studies that show we are wrong".

    Oh! Dear!

Just what do you think “peer review” actually is? You obviously do not really understand it but if you tell us we can review your knowledge and assist to correct your knowledge deficits

It was??? You mean to tell me that there were scientific journals back then? Where did they keep them? On magazine stands at Trumps airports?

Oh my. Aren't you the one who claimed the paper in the OP belonged in the trash for no other reason than you believe all studies like this are trash? Care to explain just why this study is trash other than it runs counter to the AGW hypothesis?

Wow this person thinks science started in the same era as air travel. That explains a lot about this poster.

no, that was religious dogma - they refused to believe the truth as they thought it countered their religious beliefs, science eventually proved them wrong

Indeed new data is always good and this data is another nail in the coffin of those that believe man is the primary driver of climate change.

It was a little more than religious dogma when all man could do was look up and see that "obviously" the sun revolved around the earth which " obviously" had to be flat or everyone would fall off. As you stated in your previous post new data is always good and at least almost always changes what at first seems so obvious like oh umm let me think. The earth has warmed during the same era as industrialization so "obviously" man is the cause.

yes, agree, but it was discovered long before religion finally gave in and accepted it

disagree, but more research is still needed, this is not peer reviewed or anything yet, just a new variable that may need to be added in, we do not know at this point

this should not be a political issue, both sides should just be looking for the truth of what the long term effects of putting so many greenhouse gases in the atmosphere

Indeed religion kept old science alive as religious dogma and resisted new science.

    Here is a good startingreference:

Read section 5.4 of the free book based on over 600 peer reviewed scientific papers in pdf format:

Racist liberal says that asian researchers need to be double checked by white scientists.

You mean what is sometimes called 'pal review'? Peer review is meaningless in the long term as most papers do not stand the test of time. It is allegedly used to qualify for 'publication' but peer review is by no means a test of the hypothesis in the paper.

And yet the indigenous Australians knew the earth was round and a heliocentric model of the solar system was first posited around 300 bc. The idea of a geocentric system survived because many of the scientific works were destroyed and it was heresy to challenge doctrine. The very opposit3 if peer review

Peer review although a form of peer review has been around since the mid 1600’s (Francis Bacon) it has not been until the explosion of journals in the 1950’s that it has reached its current methodology

What would you replace it with?

Open slather? We have already seen the outcome of that in the “alternative medicine” field where there is still an open invitation and prize for anyone proving that homeopathy works

What “data”? Or are you getting data confused with a journal article

Interesting history lesson but do you have a point pertaining to the OP?
