Mask Denier Tx. Rep. Louie Gohmert tests positive for Covid

No one is claiming masks are a cure for Covid, they are an easy method to try to vastly reduce the spread of the virus.

 

I don’t have a side, as I prefer to decide for myself as opposed to being told what to decide.
That being said, I don’t give a rats ass which source you use. I already showed you how much the system I work for, as well as all of the hospitals in my state, are losing in money. So you can try and prove all you like that COVID is a cash cow but it’s not when hospitals are losing hundreds of millions due to all other procedure not being done.

Haha...nonsense. No one is going around trying to find COVID cases. The fact that we and other hospitals in the state are losing money is because of the focus that was put on treating COVID cases when we were hit hard early on. If COVID cases were such a cash cow then logic would dictate we wouldn’t be losing money. But that wasn’t the case.

I pass a testing site on the way to work, there are lines of "hopefuls" present, every day.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Masks help protect others. If everybody wore masks, even makeshift cloth masks, the rate of infection will decrease dramatically. The scientific peer-reviewed studies are numerous, and they have been all over the corresponding sub-forum (which this is not)

The fact that in this country the right has transformed wearing masks into a political issue has played a huge part in the U.S. having the very worst response to this pandemic in the world.

Oh... My bad! When I said I looked at the "science", I only meant the scientific peer-reviewed studies. I forgot your opinion trumps dozens of peer-reviewed studies carried out in many countries, all of which arrive at exactly the same conclusion.

I guess researchers and scientific publications from all around the world are still in the middle of their conspiracy to make Trump look bad.
