Why do you feel that is different in other empires?
Sorry, this isn't Russia specific. It's par for the course. Empires are expensive.

It was a major complaint in the British Empire. British Sweatshops funded it.
In America today, Americans complain of the cost of policing while other countries who pay less towards it bait them about their superior standard of living.
    It was ever this way.

Oh, no, of course, no. I mean that all empires really robbed their colonies. As the example: The USA consumes 40% of the world GDP but produces only 20%. It means the world gives to the USA 20% of the world GDP and gets back nothing. It's a robbery. As for the USSR. Russia on the contrary gave to Soviet Republics more, than got back. Now all former Soviet people see that it's true.

    That's not true sorry.
Not all empires robbed their colonies. Most of them developed their colonies. Built farms roads, schools, hospitals, governments,. railroads, docks, mines, security apparatus.
The exact opposite of robbery. Investment.
    Nation building we call it.

Britain flourished as a Roman colony. When they left, it turned into the Dark Age.

If you take a look at Africa and the middle east, take the empires away and the countries immediately failed. Just as with the Soviet Union.
America is no different to the Romans in this. Do you think they make money in Afghanistan or lose it?

Most colonies are either military in nature, in which case they are empire funded, or trading in nature.

Of course, you developed your colonies. Like you develop breed of cows before eating them. I am sure that domesticated cows live better than wild ones. But they will been ate. Do you know, neutered tomcat lives three times longer than usual? Do you want to be castrated? Though.... for people from some your colonies it would be a goodness. Like for some people from Western countries too.

And you used yours as slaves. You are just about the last society on earth to give up slavery. You know?

So. Why do you think you are better than the Americans?
America is rather better loved by it's colonies than Russia has ever been.

Lets take an equal example. North and South Korea.

Not really a good look mate.

Nah. What do you mean? Though... I started to study English with dictionary of 1970. There were two senses for the word "slave" in it. The first was bondman. The second was Slav... Do you mean that?
What is "better" for your? Our women are prettier than yours, it's the fact. Our men is cooler than yours, our food is tastier... Do you want to deny it?
Did you visit any American colony? For example South Korea? I want to say - don't bring this nonsense here. There were persons that traveled around the world and they know every people hates Americans.
Yes. For Americans. But it's true. What can I do?

    Slave mate.

What Soviet's used in their Gulags.

America might not be loved by you or indeed everyone or all in it's colonies, but it's better loved than the Soviet Union ever was and always has been.
A difficult one for you to face up to perhaps, but still 100% true.

I appreciate you want your women back, but what can I tell you, they prefer it here.

I think you know nothing about your GULAG, don't you?
It's so difficult talking with Americans. No facts, mantras only...

    Russians and Americans.

    I'm not American old son.
I'm not jingoing up my own nation here. You are.

Your mantra is Russia good, America bad.
You can't seem to break free of it.

    Me, I like both countries.

    I don't understand this phrase.
I don't use mantras. I have my own ideas.
What could I say? Unfortunately it's an unrequited love :)

Your idea's seem tired and predictable.
    Comfortable, even.

"I'm not an American old son".

    I am not an American.
An explanation of what my nationality is not.

Old son. A colloquialism commonly used by the people of my country to express fondness and familiarity to another person. An indication of what my nationality is.
Like how if you called me "comrade" I'd have a clue to yours.

Ron Paul discusses the new strategy on his Liberty Report, and seems to agree with your assessment, Striped Horse.
