McCain should be given a pair of overalls and a pitchfork and sent down to the lower 40 to be of some use for a change.

Jesus what is it with you people? 3 pages of bashing / denigrating his sacrifice for THIS country and not a single one of you contesting McCain's claims.

"This decision will forfeit the opportunity to promote American exports, reduce trade barriers, open new markets, and protect American invention and innovation," McCain wrote

Is this not true? If not, then why not? My gut feeling is that most of you don't even know a single fvcki!ng detail about the proposed TPP. And yet you blindly follow the herd.

It's my turn to say, "Jesus!" You talk about 3 pages of bashing and some fantasy idea of "his sacrifice for THIS country" and yet you offer not a single motivated example why one should not bash him, nor do you give any concrete example of this "sacrifice" you speak of. The man wants war, for God's sake! Don't you think a large percentage of your countrymen are tired of it? Why hell, they voted against the war-mongering Hitlery Clinton - that should teach you something.

"McCain warned the decision to withdraw from the 12-nation deal would "have lasting consequences for America's economy and our strategic position in the Asia-Pacific region."

Haha Johnny baby, are you trying to teach Don about economics? He's a billionnaire so he must know how to make a few pennies..:)

Free trade with countries like China that openly allow the exploitation of their people, including children, in sweatshops as a way to attract foreign business should never be allowed. We should never allow free trade with any nation that does not have labor protections and wages on par or better than our own.

Is critical thinking encouraged in Sweden? Let me try to focus you to the topic:

McCain: This decision will forfeit the opportunity to promote American exports, reduce trade barriers, open new markets, and protect American invention and innovation

Now. Do you have a problem with this statement? If so, then please, let's hear it. If not, then your response is off topic. Probably in an effort to not have to defend things in which you have no knowledge.

It would be smart for countries like Australia, to stay in the TPP, boost your economy, and quite possibly get the jobs that foreign automakers, like Nissan and Toyota and Volkswagen, possibly call lights out on America, an bring to your shores. Imagine, cars on the road in America built in Australia. Never heard of such a thing, until possibly now.

Yes, that's right, I have no knowledge of "trade" that's why I rely on the experts such as Donald Trump. I do, however, have enough knowledge on the subject of war (being a war veteran myself) and I wouldn't trust a war-monger to tell me the time of day. But aren't you forgetting something? It was you who introduced McCain's "sacrifice for THIS country", and I called you out on it to provide some support for that notion. Did it slip your mind or is your silence an example of meek effort to not have to defend things which you have no knowledge?

What about war-mongering McCain's "sacrifice for THIS country"? You're crying 'uncle' already?

If McCain opposes pulling out, that settles it for me, I'm all for pulling out.

Ooops! My bad!! There has been so much talk about China and the TPP that I must have linked them in my mind

We are looking to China to see if it wants to come in on this - if not Indonesia might well be interested

    Trump knows international trade???

What the bloke who currently owes quite a lot of people quite a lot of money

. These are loans that potentially afford his lenders leverage over Trump. This creates the possibility that Trump may find himself in the position of choosing between US interests and his lenders' interests. There's no better example of this than the $364 million Trump owes the struggling Deutsche Bank, which is staggering under fierce pressure from US financial regulators who want the bank to pay for its misdeeds during the run-up to the 2008 mortgage crisis. (Trump is in a real estate partnership that borrowed $950 million from a group of banks including a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank and the state-owned Bank of China.)

IMO putting a "kill" gene in seed stock should be an obvious no-no to anyone.

When the world food shortage gets really bad we'll be glad if it's not too easy to export all of ours.

In the world of business (Donald Trump being an expert) "investment" is a key element, the key to success. Without it, you are going nowhere. People like you and I count our change when we make a purchase and are unwilling to wait until tomorrow, even if we'll get a penny extra for the delay.

When Britain in its revolution wanted to leave the EU, there was much protesting about Obama's declaration. Much the same declaration you made now.
I want to remind the British People that the American Populace soundly rejected Obama's ultimatum and we declared in no uncertain terms we would continue trade with Britain.

It's my hope that Britain shares the same solidarity in the special relationship with the US. Don't be an Obama.

McCain is going to be a huge thorn in Trump's side. He has no respect for Trump, is not intimidated by him and his vision of foreign and national security policy is exactly opposite of Trumps. His arguments and gravitas will give validation to a wing of republicans who otherwise would have been intimidated into submission for at least two years. I do not like McCain but I do have a grudging respect for his refusal to be cowed.
