So including things that have no chance in hell of passing a vote on a bill that they call is needed is a good bill? Stick to Canada man.
$380M that was provided by congress in the first security bill passed by congress has yet to be spent and now Democrats want another $750M for a security bill? This is clearly a partisan political move by the Democrats.
My thoughts are that paper ballots are just as if not more vulnerable to manipulation than electronic ballots and HR 2722 is as a partisan bill as can be imagined with a Democrat sponsor and 12 Democrat co sponsors. Also frankly it's hard to take Democrats serious on election integrity if they won't get behind id laws
Somehow? McConnell was promised a big almuminum plant by Oleg Deripashka, in return for blocking attempts by Congress to reinstate the sanctions against Deripashka’s company, which Trump had unilaterally removed at the time of Paul Manafort’s sentencing. Deripashka owned Manafort and was the man Manafort handed all the internal Trump campaign data to.
I believe the bill is h.r. 2722 SAFE act securing Americans federal elections act........ https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/2722 This bill also passed 06/27/2019-4:42pm House On passage Passed by recorded vote: 225 - 184 (Roll no. 428). (text: CR H4207-4214)
Kudos for one of the more intelligent posts I’ve seen here in a while. At least you bothered to try and do your homework. With regard to deportations in HR 2424, consider the cases of Natalia Valnitskaya and Maria Butina. We’d be better informed if both of them were in US custody.
Maria Butina is in US custody. Natalina V. has been found guilty of obstruction in a money laundering case in January of 2018, but a Judge denied her entry into the US in November of 2017 when she attempted to come here to face the charges. Interesting.
You include extreme things so that you have things to offer up in a negotiation. Y'know, a standard tactic. How is it the Dems fault the money hasn't been spent?
After years of Democrats opposing voter ID laws, now they suddenly have a plan to protect the integrity of our elections? Interesting flop.
That's what I'm saying lol.... Also someone should work through how paper ballots are impervious to manipulation cause I'm not seeing it
Thanks for the info I suspected the bills containtained poisoned pills and it appears these two had enough to choke a horse
Good job digging that out. They are really committed to open borders and ignoring their rat infested constituents while they hand out "freebies" to illegals storming our borders. WHEN SEDITION POSES AS PROFESSIONAL ETHICS: Prof demands ADA bar dentists from helping ICE. A team of medical academics is demanding that immigration agents and dentists put an end to the “unethical” practice of taking dental X-rays of migrants at the southern border, whose age cannot otherwise be determined. Boston University School of Medicine professor Sondra Crosby penned the plea with the help of two medical students, urging the American Dental Association (ADA) to “explicitly prohibit” dentists from conducting examinations that may be used by federal immigration officers to determine the ages of persons entering the United States via its southern border. “Health professionals should never use their training or skills to act as agents of the state" When it cannot be readily determined whether an individual who has been detained at the border is over the age of 18, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) often determines whether the individual is a child or adult by using dental scans.
McConnell and Trump already passed funding for election security back in 2018. These bills by the left are only met to get donor list, to harass. The dems did this years ago in states they controlled during the civil rights movement, the SCOTUS overturned those laws NAACP v Alabama
You have to show ID when you register the ID at the voting booth is for the prevention of identity fraud which is very rare.
Just like the bills to recend the ACA for eight years by republicans. They both do the same when in the minority whip position.
Well the difference was one was trying to improve healthcare and the other trying to harass political rivals
