    Again babbling isn't an argument. This has nothing to do with Hillary, except for the fact that Melania stole from a speech written by Hillary's current writer.

    I'm fairly sure she did. This was not a complex speech, it was simple English, simple sentence structure. I don't see the influence of a professional speech writer at all. No repetitive phrases hammered often, no commonly used rhetorical devices, no metaphor, nothing soaring, just plainly spoken English. Just as one might expect from someone whose first language is not English.

    No, they want to change the subject because Paul Manafort (again, his reaction to Melania's plagiarism, not her) is the real story.....

    has put them in an embarrassing position.

    Wait until "the next shoe drops" at the Convention....some other un-forced error....and the Trump Cultists have to go to the blogs and defend THAT.....

    by trying to talk about something else entirely.

    Cool thing is....THEY know they're being put in an awkward position....but they can't criticize Manafort, because-

    A. it would be "joining in with the dang liberals"

    B. by extension, since he hired Manafort?....it would be criticizing their Beloved Leader, Hair Furor.

    This is true. I bet one could find similar wording in 1000 different speeches going back to the beginning of political time. But, this is the home stretch of an election year, so, regardless of sides, we expect the opposition to latch on to every little thing and make every stick of hay possible from it.

    Of course, that is possible. But I work in about 6 languages per week and can write, speak and read in sentences that definitely go beyond the level you describe.

    I am merely reporting what Mrs. Trump said openly, on TV.
