Sorry, 90% of the people here on this forum are from the US or Canada so it's easy to assume that most know what is considered common knowledge.

How about other female celebs who went nude in movies? Could have sworn you were in support of them=) Maybe girls should not be proud of the country for most of their lives until their black husband is elected? Or maybe they should get married by a racist or attend a racist church for a decade, then deny it affected them? Or maybe they should marry their husbands in the hopes they could run for president some day, and NOT divorce him after he cheats on them repeatedly, because their political hopes would come crashing down? Those kind of role models?

Even though the John F. Kennedy Inauguration was before my time, the press just went ape covering them and especially his little son.

They were the beautiful people--in "Camelot."

Now, the same press scorns Trump and his family, even though Trump is not as handsome now as he was 20 years ago. Melania Trump far outclasses Jackie O in terms of----everything. And Trump's son Baron seems as cute as JFK Jr. was (at least before his plane crash).

What I find odd, is that Hollywood stars and producers that are far more ugly and toxic have all these young beautiful women----and no one dares confront them about it.

No problem. I've lived in America for a year so I do know most of your terms. I learned English watching American shows (as most Swedes do). It's thought in our schools but poorly so most of us learn English from your movies and television shows which are not dubbed (only subtitled) in our country. While this is a good way to learn English it does mess up up when we visit America because you guys don't talk like you do in your movies.

Probably true. Twenty four hour news and the internet has polarized Swedish politics just as much as American politics. At least that's the way it seems to me from reading the history of politics from the past. Past leader's flaws weren't broadcast for the world to see. They could run a country and still be infallible humans.

I have to ask this of those who don't like Melania. I just noticed something. It seems to be mostly democrats making fun of Melania's past career choice and her marriage choice. I say this based on the assumption that those in this forum criticizing Trump are mostly democrats.

Assume she had not done a nude photo spread and assume she were older and unattractive (implying she didn't marry Trump for money).
Now assume it was discovered she had two previous abortions.

Should she be ridiculed by family value republicans for those abortions? I guess the democrats would reply with "no" because they would argue she has a right to do with her body as she wishes. The democrats would attack those who criticized her for her choices.

Then why are democrats criticizing her for her career and marriage choices? Is posing topless worse than ending a pregnancy? Is marrying Trump worse than stopping a baby from taking its first breath?

 

Strong, smart conservative women are always targets for the far left liberals. Jealous, angry, preadolescent and most likely angry they couldn't score such fine women. But the women have standards and they refuse to stoop down that low.

It makes them angry. Then they attack the women and the children and become intolerant because that's all they can do.

 

How you have arrived at the conclusion that Melania is "strong" and "smart", let alone conservative? Other than through the osmosis of marriage, or her plagiarized speech at the RNC, we really don't have too much on Melania other than what the Donald and his fandom says.

Chuck Shumer had a fit inside a very exclusive and very expensive restaurant.
The restaurant doesn't even take credit cards.They bill you monthly for
restaurant expenses.Turns out Shumer heard a woman admit she voted for
Trump.The woman's husband used to work as a Democrat agency official.
Shumer was so irate at the woman he followed her outside berating her at loud
levels.Limbaugh made a joke about how he once witnessed a Republican pull
that kinda thing at a famous restaurant.Then he said he was joking.
That republicans don't pull that kinda crap.And that it's a Democrat thing.
It's a sickness.I think that is indisputable.It explains why democrats act

Jackie O definitely did become reclusive after her husband's death. What made her appear unfriendly was the one and only Ron Galella, her paparazzi photog who relentlessly stalked her. I have mixed feelings about Ron; on one hand he went out of his way to become obsessed with Jackie, on the other hand, his candid images captured her for all eternity. There is no denying that Jackie hated Ron, and it comes through in some of his photos, but not all.

Regarding your scoring of Melania...that's obviously your own predilection, not based on anything she has done thus far, and making your prediction of her legacy extremely premature.
