    Nice try to sell a defeat as victory ... but failed, sorry!

    What Merkel told is that the USA is no more any trustworthy partner and ally, but we have to care about ourself and give at least a crap on the USA and their thoughts and will.... of course diplomatic harmless told at least and not straight away as I did now!

    So any further BS blabbering of the US about the USA is paying NATO is what is was always ... rubbish with not even a spark of truth!

    I was told that many Americans want their troops pulled out of Europe and NATO cancelled. Do it and be fine with it but then stay in your US bunker again and never be again so impudent to demand anything from people which you have betrayed!

    Ehm ... what money do you spend for the Europeans and their defense again during the last 20 years please?

    N O T H I N G !!!!

    You have pulled out nearly all troops out of Europe...
    You have closed 2/3 of all bases in Europe...
    You use the rest of European bases not for NATO issues but for the issues in rest of the world...+
    You use your complete Forces for everything in the world, including the few in Europe...
    You count the costs for the bases in Japan and South Korea inside the costs for NATO (since when are they NATO member please?)...

    So which money do you spent again for defense of Europe please?

    I suspect that the adults will prevail and Americans will understand how important it is to the rest of the world and the United States to keep Europeans doing anything militarily cuz killing people is what the european military is always about

    2015 we spent almost 650 Billion dollars, that's 72% of NATO military expenditures. Pay up, or shut the **** up, and do your own thing.

    Your post suggest you're another one of those ignorant deplorables. The ramp up in European military spending was negotiated three years ago Trump even talking about it like it's his accomplishment is just trump slopping the Hogs

    ROFL .... yeah, we saw what USA is standing for in Iraq in 2003, I know!
    Unfortunately for the US, the election of Donald Dumbass has waked up Europe and latest after the G-7 farce (which was a G-6 + devil guest) they all learned it latest!
    In all little disputes inside EU, there is one common opinion: No one likes Trump and no one takes this troll anymore serious or trusts on anything of this troll! So they all take their faith now completely in own hands and give more or less a crap on will of Washington!

    I think the point you should be concerned about is Europeans haven't been pulling their fair share in spending in NATO. Have you start to learn how to speak Russian

    Indeed... and the funny thing about these total fools is that of these 650 Billion dollars are about 5 billion for NATO if even at all!
    Very interesting when these fools count the costs for their many bases in Asia, Japan, Guam etc. inside the costs when there is no NATO territory ... or is Japan suddenly part of Europe and NATO member?

    But when a European counts the costs for sending and using the troops to Afghanistan, ships in the Mediterranean Sea or against Pirates in shore line of Somalia, well ... this is due to US opinion not NATO issue, but very interesting that their costs for their troops in Afghanistan and their ships in duty in Mediterranean Sea are inside these 650 Billion dollars and not excluded, eh?

    Yes ... I agree that these 2% have to be met if necessary and yes, they are necessary. I can only speak for my own country which spend 1.2% and about 3-4% are necessary at least in moment!

    But you should be concerned about that USA lost status of being trustworthy and you should be concerned about that these 650 billion dollar are BS! How much of them have to do with NATO?
    Why do you count the costs for your bases in Japan inside please or is Japan NATO?
    Why do you count the costs to fight ISIS in Syria and Iraq inside please and deny that others can count their costs same way?
    What of your forced is defending European freedom in moment please, when there is currently 2nd ACR and 1 tank brigade the only real fighting ground force in Europe?

    So, the costs of the about 80 US bases in Japan are for NATO and have to be count for NATO involvement?

    Really ... very clever BS statistic if taking the way to give proof about the lie that the US is payer for the NATO security and defense!

    As now written multiple times...
    Count off all things of these 664.1 billion which have nothing to do with NATO as first step as the base costs etc. for your bases in Asia...
    Count off the costs for war in Afghanistan and in Iraq, because you do not allow the Europeans that they can count their costs of this type inside!
    Are these 10+ Aircraft Carriers and their costs for being in service always and all the time a matter of NATO. Are the carriers in front of NK in moment a NATO mission and so their costs are part of defense for NATO?

    When you have cleaned up these 664.1 billion, then come back with correct digits ...
    this is called maths ...
