Michelle Wie West Responds to Rudy Giuliani’s Reprehensible Remarks About Her

Was he bragging or telling a funny story? I can't stand giuliani but you guys need to get a f***ing grip. And Wie can shut up. No one was disrespecting here game anyway.

See, thats the thing. Michelle Wie is a friggin professional golfer. Her shooting a 64 or beating a field of amateurs is not a story. Now a beautiful golfer in a micro short skirt bending over far enough to show off her panties on every putt? That's a story.

 

I didn't catch that. If she was using the publicity as an opportunity to cash in then I take back my critical comments. Good for her - smart really. Using the indignant lefts outrage to bank a few extra dollars, who could not love that?

 

I didn't see anyone suggest that women don't leer at men. This has nothing to do with that.

Giuliani bragged about something that should have been "locker room talk", not for the general public to hear.

 

Someone who can keep it real. I like the honesty.

 

GTFOOH, giules' story is far too tame to be locker room talk. And you know it.

 

I'm positive there are many women and some men that disagree with that. It may not be raunchy enough for the locker room, but it's certainly not appropriate in polite society.

 

Why is this an issue? Women don’t talk about guys packages or butts? Equality right? You want to be equal, then deal with it. Go ask a guy if he feels uncomfortable if women oogle them? Good luck

Why is it people do not understand the core of the problem here. It is not the fact that Giuliani checked out an attractive woman, it is the fact that he went on public radio to retell the story. Lets assume you checked out a co-worker. Now lets assume you went into the next company meeting, which she attends, and retold the story to everyone on how beautiful she is and how you were looking up this co-worker skirt as she bent over. Do you see how that could be inappropriate? That is the tone deafness of this problem. He sees it as a funny story but does not consider the consequences. He does not look at it from the perspective of the woman or everyone that can hear his story.

 

Giuliani is an unmannered boor, much like Trump who was proud of the characteristic and whose followers took it up in slavish imitation. This is the major benefit of Trump's losing the election really more than anything else. We will not see the continued rise of "oaf chic"

This shock and outrage indicates many of you liberal men posting in this thread have never heard women commenting on a man's sexual attributes.

 

I have heard truck stop waitresses and titty dancers and maybe the wives of pro basketball players comment about a mans sexual attributes..

but I have never heard educated women that had a direct line to the most powerful office in the land talk in such a childish manner

This is usually the reason almost all people dig their heels in. We don't stop and consider the other person's perspective. I honestly believe many things could be healed in our society if we just stopped and considered X (whatever the issue is) from someone else's point of view. It may be naïve but the current methods of fighting to be fighting are clearly not working.

 

I personally believe there is some kind of race to the bottom of the moral bandwagon going on in the GOP. And the base LOVES it, because they are filled a lust to demean and hurt people, as they know only hatred for anyone different than them.

It seems to me, that the more horrible the act or words of a particular GOP ****** bag ( Cruz, Guliani, Cruz, etc etc to name a few ) the more they are cheered and liked by their deplorable fans. Its a very sad state of affairs in the GOP. They can no longer claim any form of moral equivalency to the Democrats anymore. They have sunk to utterly depraved depths. Its very sad to me what todays GOP and conservative base have become.

I fear there really will be no way to live with them, and at some point, mass violent confrontation is inevitable.
