this isn't about loving or hating anyone or anything. this is about simple equality. while the "right" is labeled homophobic, racist, misogynistic and other equally obnoxious terms for the most minor transgressions, the oh so honorable left is constantly forgiven obviously derogatory comments on a regular basis.

while we're at it, let's take a look at your definition of conservatism's regard for homosexuality. while hatred and homophobia is well within your definition, the reality is closer to benign disinterest. what the ominous "right" is sick and tired of is this idiotic insistence that we consider every form of human deviance as "normal". here in the real world we simply don't give a damn about our neighbors' sexual proclivities. while we may see homosexuality as abnormal and trans-sexuals as mentally unbalanced, few, if any, of us are running around demanding they be put to death or institutionalized. what we object most to is this insane notion that society as a whole must bend to the will of an abnormal few and redefine our lives to make room for the fringe ideology that anything humans can think up is "normal". the very term "normal" loses all meaning when it is stretched to encompass everything that human nature can imagine.

 

The real thing here is not what she said. Its that if a right wing press person said that there would be riots, calls for advertising boycotts and possibly even some dead bodies. If the left wants to dish it out they have to learn to take it in. They are super strict about speech these days and this is a perfect example of their own lame beliefs backfiring in them...nobody cares thatbahe said that..they care that she would totally shred someone else that said it

i'm finding it increasingly difficult to discern whether your your posts are the result of deceit, ignorance or simple stupidity. in the hopes that it is neither the first nor the last, i give you this piece of advice. when singular occurrences become commonplace they are no longer aberrations. when the bias of the right is matched step for step with bias from the left, there is either one massive bias or your definition of that bias is mistaken. your excusing the bias of your own while decrying the similar bias of the opposition is neither just nor intellectually sound.
