OK, let's say you're right and the polls were correct. The media sure as hell spun that into Hillary winning electoral votes. So that which was true was made false by the biased media.

Notice ALL of these sources are speaking about electoral votes, and not the "popular vote" which everyone from the outset knew was meaningless.

They'll be crying and whining about how they were somehow 'screwed over by the system' for decades to come. hell, they're still whining about Bush 'stealing' the election from Algore.

they were perfectly fine with the Electoral College system until things seriously started going south late on election night....

earlier in the day they were all 'Electoral College' this and 'Electoral College' that, and making all sorts of predictions about how many Electoral College votes Trump would need to defeat Hillary, and chirping about how many Electoral College votes Hillary would ultimately wind up with in her landslide victory....

nary a peep was uttered about the popular vote... not one popular vote prediction and no popular vote tallies... nothing...not a whisper. not until the bell tolled for the bitter collectivist queen.

No question she was a pathetic candidate but there is also no question that the Russians wanted and helped to get Trump elected.

True, but on that criteria it would be difficult if not impossible to find a President that didn't have that guilt.

Obama’s strategy killed these soldiers 8 months into Trump’s presidency.

Involvement or attempt to become involved with the Russia criminal intervention in the 2016 presidential election is indictable as Conspiracy Against the United States.

Impeachment and removal from office is political and not criminal in nature and anything can qualify as being grounds of impeachment. Certainly conspiring with Russia, an enemy of the United States and the Free World, to exchange relief from economic sanctions for the illegal intervention of the Russian government (intelligence agencies) on your behalf during the 2016 election would certainly get my vote for removal from office of any president. Any member of Congress with any belief in the United States and our Constitution would vote with me. There are, of course, many that place party before country in the Republican Party so everything is questionable when it comes to the national security of our nation.

That doesn't imply the GOP would impeach and remove Trump from office for any reason. They've pretty much tossed all of the Republican values into the toilet in ignoring Trump's statements and actions. Nothing Trump does seems to phase them at all and Trump could possibly commit treason against the United States and some Republicans, like Representative Devin Nunes and Senator Charles Grassley, would still refuse to vote to impeach and remove him from office.

And Obama's economy is still growing driving records in the stock market and the lowest unemployment rates in decades a full 13 months plus into Trump's presidency and we can anticipate it will continue throughout 2018 and 2019 unless Trump and the GOP screw it up.

I am a commie liberal. It amazes me that some liberals actually believe Trump won because of the Russians. He won because conservatives bothered to show up, because of the way the electoral college works and because Hillary is one of the worse campaigners in history.

You missed how Trump has changed Obama's strategy for the economy. He did not change Obama's strategy for putting soldiers in other countries.

The election shouldn't even have been close with a candidate who had a bit of energy and supplied some enthusiasm to her campaign and supporters. Even with her inept and ho hum campaign, she did win the popular vote. I went to be early on election eve fully expecting an easy Clinton victory. I was very surprised in the morning Trump won. Everything had to go perfect with him and it did.

I don't know how much influence Russia had, minuscule, a little bit or more. That we'll probably find out when Mueller issues his final report. Regardless, that doesn't relieve Hillary of her laziness in her campaign like she thought she had it in the bag. If she did, she wasn't the only one. I did too along with almost every political pundit out there. One really has to wonder if she took the election seriously. But then again, anything is possible, was possible when you have two candidates nominated by both major parties that had only a 36% and 38% favorables or positive image among Americans as a whole. That leaves around 60% of all Americans who looked upon each candidate in the negative. Oh well.

As I stated, the election was Hillary's to lose and she did.

Yes... even hard to find a Secretary of State without guilt!!!!!

So let’s all agree on which standard of guilt that we are going to apply to president trump
Are we going to apply the same guilt standards as the gop applied to clinton (lock her up)?

In a similar vein of thought.... we know the gop was mortally outraged at Clinton’s careless handling of national security secrets. Should we apply that same standard in regards to Kushner and multiple others in the administration who were given top secret access despite not having appropriate top secret clearance

Or, are we going to expediently apply a double standard in recognician of the purely political nature of the bloviation on these topics?

Sorry but Trump is President of the United States. Keep trying to lower the standards and eventually he might meet them. We know he lies endlessly, assaults wonen, apparently has no actual moral values, and somehow while he will verbally assault even members of his own administration is totally inwilling to say anything bad about Putin or even take the smallest steps to prevent Russia from meddling in US elections.

There is something seriously wrong in the Presidency and trying to justify by comparing to people with lesser roles is pathetic and a sure sign that Republicans are getting really desperate.

And because of the Russian Email leaks and that idiotic Comey memo. Poll data tell the story very clearly of when the momentum shifted.

Actually if one looks at the "blue wall" states the polls predicted Clinton to win. For instance, Wisconsin RCP average before the election favored Clinton by 6.5 points. Trump took the actual vote by .7 points.
    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/wi/wisconsin_trump_vs_clinton-5659.html

In Michigan Clinton's RCP average before the election was 3.6 percent over Trump. Trump won the election by .3 percent.
    https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/mi/michigan_trump_vs_clinton-5533.html

In Wisconsin Clinton was favored by 2.1 percent in Pennsylvania. Trump won Pennsylvania by .7. Even the more focused state polls were wrong.

That is why I don't put any stock in polls.
