He's a fool for sure. Set's the wrong example for other Americans. The hospital is also at fault for allowing him onto the premises without wearing a mask (and gloves for that matter).

Not true; he isn't given the covid-19 test everyday. They may check his temperature everyday, but that's not the same thing as a full blown test.

But you don't know the circumstances. Who told them to join them for the visit? What were their "marching orders"? What other obligations did they have in the room? Were they trying to keep distance from him?

The fear of this pandemic (outside of New York as 9 million people are piled on top of each other) has been way over blown.
