    Of course there will always be 'hardcore supporters' of just about an public figure. There are people who still think Hillary would have been a wonderful POTUS.

    Basically, we need to get rid of the duopoly. Voting for the lesser of evils, is still voting for evil.

    Back to the OP. Anyone, regardless of political affiliation, should be held monetarily responsible for time spent by authorities proving their claim, if that claim is proven to be false. Maybe a $5,000 base rate, and $1,000 per hour? I would hope that would dissuade some these twits, and for each media report based on a false claim, another $500,000, payable to a local charity supporting no-kill animals shelters....

    Not bad ideas, but, unfortunately, there are many people who can't agree on something that is blatantly obvious, with video and audio.
    Would be nice to have a honest fact check to keep these bozos in check.
    Also, wouldn't want to punish someone for being simply wrong, which I view different from lying.

    Why wouldn't you be surprised? These are few and far between compared to someone on the left faking stuff like this.

    That said this guy was going after insurance money and this is how he saw to do it. Make him pay it all back and then face whatever penalties go with this.

    Dunno about 'rightists' generally, but that certainly nails all of Humpty Trumpty's "horses and men," running around trying to put him "back together again." He IS the meaning and purpose of life for them, it seems. Has been said many times.....blind cultists.
