As noted in the story Mitt Romney and the Republicans want to frame the November elections based upon whether each individual is better off than they were four years ago so is Romney going to vote based upon that criteria? We need only remember that Mitt Romney is one of the one-percenters with incomes well in excess of one million per year so is Mitt better off today than he was in 2008?

At the individual level we can certainly see millions of American that are not better off because of the 2007-2008 recession but the wealthy have benefited from the highest corporate profits in history as well as disproportionate income growth when compared to the other 99% of Americans. Romney has continued to enjoy the rewards of his ever expanding wealth while the majority of Americans have suffered. Mitt Romney hasn't had to worry about how to pay his mortgage or about putting food on the table.

Mitt Romney is unquestionably better off today than he was four years ago and based upon the very criteria that he and other Republicans are promoting Mitt Romney should be voting for President Obama in November.
