not much info yet keep tuned. or start speculating.

From what I know of the area it is predominately Latin gangs in the hood that account for a good share of the gun violence in the area. But this does not seem to be that.

Here we go again. I'm sure gun control advocates are hoping for another white male shooter that conforms to their narrative, but San Bernardino has been called "San Bernaghetto" by locals for quite a while. It's actually a more dangerous place to live than Compton, nowadays. Sky high housing prices have pushed poorer black and brown minorities out further into the desert, and it has become a gang warzone in the last couple of decades. It was once a nice somewhat rural ranching city. Sad to see what it has become. Anyway, I suspect this is going to be gang related, but we will wait and see.

 

Possible three shooters and a terror event! whiskey tango bravo circle the wagons.

 

God help us if it is a mass shooting by multiple people

 

The sad reality is that some people actually hope for these kinds of events with regularity since they believe it helps their gun control agenda.

 

I take it latin gangs there don't have a history of mass shootings like this that makes the news as special reports?

ACTIVE SHOOTER SITUATION IN SAN BERNADINO, CALIF.; AT LEAST 20 PEOPLE MAY HAVE BEEN SHOT
The San Bernardino Fire Department is responding to reports of a "20 victim shooting incident," the department said on Twitter.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department tweeted that there was an "active shooter in the area of Orange Show Rd/Waterman Ave near Park center." It urged people to avoid the area.
San Bernardino Fire Department units were responding to a report of a “20-victim shooting” on Wednesday, authorities said.

The incident was reported in the 1300 block of South Waterman Avenue, the Fire Department tweeted shortly before 11:15 a.m.

San Bernardino police confirmed around 11:30 a.m. there was an active shooter in the area of Orange Show Road / Waterman Avenue near Park Center Circle.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department warned people to avoid the area due to police activity.

A “hard closure” was in effect at Orange Show Road / Waterman Avenue and Park Center Circle in San Bernardino, the Sheriff’s Department tweeted.

 

No suspect information released. Usually that means they are looking for a non-white shooter.

3,200 permits in San Bernadino county. Virtually impossible for a citizen free of nepotism to get a permit for self -defense. No chance anybody was able to defend them selves here. Gun control at its finest.

What a terrible act of terrorism. Prayers for all those may have been killed/injured in this tragedy.

 

I worked in San Bernardino driving an Armored Truck. A few years back there were tee shirts going around calling it the 187 (the police code for homicide) Capitol of the Country. There was an auto parts store manager that got stabbed during a robbery, his first contact with the police was when he was leaving the Hospital getting into a friends car for a ride. Nothing surprises me in that cesspool of human debris.

 

Apparently the shooter is wearing body armor. Thus answering the question, "What if the shooter is wearing body armor?" when people talk about being armed during mass shooting scenarios.

The place where the shooting took place has nothing to do with gangs. It is a Regional Center, a state agency, that provides case management for people with developmental disabilities. This hits close to home for me, as I worked for a Regional Center in the San Francisco bay area for 6 years prior to retiring.

I can't imagine why anyone would target an agency whose only vocation is to care for people with developmental disabilities. . .unless it is a parent or a client of that center who may be dissatisfied with the services received. In NO WAY can it be related to gang activities.

Not knowing much except what is being reported, which could be factually incorrect, it is hard to say what the motive would be.

Yes, the only thing to do is wait.

But, knowing the facility where it took place and the type of people working at that facility, I can certainly eliminate some assumptions.

 

Wonder if it's angry workers or anti-healthcare goons behind this.
