And, Maliki was our Iraqi side point man on that project - which he continued throughout his leadership in Iraq.

Sunnis were participants in the Iraq constitutional republic and military which Obama claimed as a great accomplishment and then gave away. Stupid or corrupt ??

 

And ended with the purge. Obama claimed that the constitutional republic of Iraq was one of his greatest accomplishments indicating that Bush’s invasion was justified. And then he gave it away.

The deal with Iran was multinational - not US v Iran. The sanctions were close to timing out (thus becoming less of an issue as time passed), and other nations were not interested in establishing a new regime of sanctions. Trade sanctions by the US alone would have no meaningful effect at all.

Those complaining about the deal tend to forget/ignore that there needed to be a package significant enough for Iran to concede inspections, etc., and that the deal had to be signed by a number of other nations.
