Are you making the assumption that only good citizens are the ones making these firearms and they will only be used for protection against the occasional crocodile attack?
    Or,
They are most likely going to be used against those unarmed citizens that are not allowed to defend themselves?

And like the video said "nobody knows how many more are out there."

If they found these, then there are more out there to be found.

    Can't be.
I have it on good authority this can't happen in Australia because of the gun laws.

Ignoring half the facts invariably produces unreliable answers.
IF gun controls haven't worked, then why are the GC obsessed screaming for more of them?
Are they under the illusion that if a killer didn't have a gun available, he would just say "Aw, shucks", forget it all and go home?

If you have a nation of peaceful people, homicide rates are low because the number of people inclined to kill is low. The fact that they have few guns or more guns present is no more relevant that the number of cows in their fields- it is the mindset of killers that create homicides, and the number of such people that create levels overall. One doesn't need any special insight to understand that, it's blatantly obvious.

Read this forum, and you see the most disjointed logic a rational person can imagine- you see hate over politics and people who wouldn't have an honest discussion regardless.
That's how we have violence; we have a lot of irresponsible, violent and childish people who got older but never learned to cope with the world.

Neither is your logic. Given man's ingenuity weapons can easily be made. Take a look at what the Israeli's were able to produce when they were not allowed to protect themselves during the late 1940's.

Certainly the Aussies have made inroads in gun control and confiscation, however, like the UK crime has not decreased and neither have murders. There's been an increase of murders by blunt instruments and knives. Will their next step restrict the ownership of edged weapons and home utensils from paring knives to axes?

If gun control didn't work then we'd see a hell of a lot more fully auto weapons on the streets than we do. But we don't because it does work to some degree. It's not as black and white as you're making it out to be.

So you admit that the laws passed in 1934 requiring registration and special federal licenses of all fully automatic weapons works. Therefore there's no need to pass other laws as Congress and cities have restricting gun owners.

That's not what I said at all. It is not binary "it works" or "it doesn't work". I said it's a gray area as it works to some degree.

Then explain why cities like Chicago, Detroit, New York, Baltimore, Los Angeles that have the most strictest gun laws in the U.S. and have the highest crime rates?
Then we have the UK with gun confiscation laws and London with a higher crime rate than New York City now talking about knife confiscation laws.

What obviously does not work is "thoughts and prayers".

Laws are only as good as those that use the laws correctly and uniformly. When law are ineffectual and ignored that is when lawlessness reigns. An example is the Sanctuary Cities and States ignoring Federal laws.

The fact that CA, with its draconian gun laws, has significantly higher rates of gun-related crime than the rest of the country, while VT, with virtually no gun laws, has the lowest, disproves your claim.
