    Not sure this involves resistance altho the thought crossed my mind. There will be consequences to other species so
    I'd be cautious.

    that would be an ecological disaster...mosquito larva do a great deal to keep the water clean and livable for other creatures by consuming algae, plankton, fungi and other microorganisms...as well they are a key food source in the food chain...

    when lakes and ponds become oxygen depleted slimy green dead cesspools the high school science geniuses here will be scratching their heads wondering why that happened...nah it couldn't be because we eliminated all the annoying little mosquito could it?...

    kick out the bottom rung out of the food chain that's also essential for water purification ? don't be surprised when bad shitte happens..
