Her focus was t keep things quietly stable and moving ahead.........without the kind of drama and theater that the Us seems to prefer. She met her challenges in a factual, logical manner.........without creating the kind of crap leaders like Trump do..........that distract from the issues. SHE was not the focus......... doing the job at hand was .........as it should be. It should never be about some narcissistic self aggrandising leader...........

she spoke several languages , makingherable to communicate directly with other international leaders. Perhaps she was just too intelligent and subtle for some. ...........and that is fine.........as shel did well in a man's world...........and never lost her dignity or was surrounded by crazy fictional gossip that detractors seem to enjoy. She was not perfect. No Leader is.......... and there is no such thing. She is practical and a realist. Perhaps That is just not sexy enough for some ......... who want glamour and sensationalism in their politics. She Has a strong work ethic and high standards..........that fit within that culture. As a rule German's are hardworking people and not prone to fanciful theater.or hysterics. Being grounded in reality is an asset in a leader.(or anyone.....fr that matter)

 

Did you know, you could have summed all that up with, "She's as dull as dishwater"

 

Why didn't she stare down Obama, a very popular person worldwide, when she learned he had been spying on her? Now that would have taken guts. Not staring down someone who wasn't very popular worldwide.

Those that don't like her......don't for their own and varied reasons. . Some don't need a reason.......May forget or ignore the fact the are daeliing with a different culture.

 

Many have made the fatal mistake of underestimating what appears to be "dull" on the surface.......... and fail to try and see a little deeper into the person .......for their qualities. Perhaps it is because the western society has become very superficial and bases so much on appearances..
