Ok. Let's do that. Brilliant idea. There are like a billion of them there. Let's get rid of them all.

After 8 pages of replies, I see little sorrow for people of the the military that keep getting killed.

There is s much if not more historical evidence for Christ as there is for any of his contemporaries.

I've actually appreciated the coverage. I enjoyed Prince in the 80s and early 90,s but lost track of him and didn't realize his impact in the industry.

When Steve Jobs died, the damn media elevated him to a divine entity. They are doing the same with Prince.

That wouldn't mean that he's magic/divine though, now would it. His magic LEGEND is the problem, not "did he ever exist?" Even if he existed, that in no way means that you're going to magically survive your death in some magic invisible place in the sky ("heaven").

Just so there would be no question about his divinity, if you had his alleged super-powers, in an attempt to reduce the number of eventually hell-bound people, would you reveal yourself w/in the last 2000 years, gary? I would have of course, because I care about people. What about you?

Lot's of eyewitness accounts demonstrate him doing things that even by todays standards would seem impossible. And let's face it if one accepts the possibiliy of a God who by merely saying so can bring the universe into existence causing a donkey or a snake to talk would be child's play for such a being.

If you believe that then you believe that the giant eagles that carried Frodo away are true as well. Or that Zeus is real. Or that Mohammad flew on a winged horse. Your criteria for discerning which unscientific claim is actually true and which is not needs some work, I'm afraid.

The guy that wrote of Frodo was a Christian and much of the Lord of the rings is in nature a biblical allegory of sorts. But then your whole supposition is basically foolish.
