    I'm fine that she apologized for a very strange turn of phrase. I'm less fine that the MAGA crowd is spinning that she compared Latinos to tacos...

    I defend apologizing to defuse situations, even where an apology is questionably needed... like here...

    Hey, I was saying it was Joe who called the community diverse, NOT Fat Jill. I was saying I think you got them confused is all.

    Also, agreeing that the black community is not diverse? Hoo-boy ...

    Also heck, I think I'm one of the few in the thread who even discussed women and how they are treated here rather than in Afghanistan. I mean, if even MJ has abandoned ship, who are we to disagree? :)

    I've see very few on the left condemn her and few on the right cheer on MTG.

    But if you get to choose who represents the right then I reserve the right to choose the one on the left.
