Nah, I've debunked it 100 times, you are just trolling. And I see you haven't gotten the memo, even your side has stopped peddling the gibberish, finally realizing that it's so absurdly inapplicable that it's frankly embarrassing.

Anyway, the law applies to financial contributions and "of value" applies to goods, services, pieces of arts, not information, not words. A campaign song is of value to campaign, that does not mean using a Beatles campaign song would be a crime. Jeez. how more stupid can this interpretation possibly be that even leftist pundits have already abandoned it and retreated with a tail between their legs. Takes a tad longer for PF loons to get the memo :D

Thanks again! As long as you keep coming on here making a fool of yourself by not proving your point, while I already have, you will be the one doing the trolling. The statute is clear; "OTHER THINGS OF VALUE". It's four words. Surely you can figure out what they mean? Remember, Webster is your friend.

The NYTimes article was back in 2015. We've learned some new facts since then.

Thanks for the outdated evidence on the Clinton's.

The DNC used Ukraine to undermine Trump. They took out Manafort. Schiff admits they did.

It's all deflection from those who avoid the truth in this matter.

As for Kushner, they simply ignore the obvious.

Information is not a thing. Anyway, go for it, by all means lead your party to court with this gibberish.

So long as the result is not why the investigation happened. For instance, you have a stash of coke in your home. And you get a traffic stop and the cops locate an item. Does this lead them to your home? Did they stop you over coke?

The degree of seriousness isn't even close. Nice try! Still doesn't change this massive scandal with Trump one bit.

They certainly will. And we know why. Because it is there. It exists, and it is real. Not like the fantasy case you are making.

Lol! They have an awful lot of evidence way before they get to the house. Open the car door and the coke falls out by the sack full.

They already have tons of proof that the Right is in complete denial about. It's okay! It's not like you all have any kind of defense here.

Kenneth Starr wasn't specifically looking for Clinton blow job, cigar stuffing either, but that's what ended up getting slick Willy impeached and the GOP faithful were loving life while Clinton was being humiliated and disgraced. If this Russian deal leads to one or more of the sleazy money laundering activities of Trump, be a sport and let the Democrats have some fun too. I was an independent who voted for Ross Perot twice and I loved watching Clinton get BBQed. Seeing Trump get carted away in handcuffs along with his snotty kids and Kushner would be a real hoot for me and most Americans.

It does not matter 'why the investigation happened'. Investigations change directions all the time. It matters what the scope of the warrant issued is by the judge. The same rules of evidence apply to a special council investigation. If you are stopped for a traffic violation, and they see evidence they notice some cocaine on the front seat, and they then convince a judge that there is probable cause to believe there is more in your home, then a warrant will be issued to search. Oh and you get your speeding ticket too!

Why do so many people believe that law enforcement has to ask permission to investigate what ever they want whenever they want? If there is no invasion inconsistent with the fourth amendment, you don't need a showing in front of a magistrate. The special council needs to get a warrant signed broad enough in its scope to cover those financial records.

Start here and do not pass go nor collect $200.

Mueller was charged to investigate Russia.

He has no mandate to investigate the president of the USA. Mueller has the rope given to him by DOJ.

Starr found about that but the congress never impeached Clinton for that.

No, you mean you think the media exposed Trump. Mueller will follow law. So far, he has not found scandal.

I hope both of these sleazy corrupt parties are dismantled and destroyed. The fact that the best they could come up with last year were a couple of completly corrupt turds like Trump and Clinton should be enough. And the way the gutless GOP weaklings are supporting the sleazebag who won, no matter what comes out about him doesn't bode very well for their non existent integrity.

Pay attention. The Special Prosecutor statute passed by Congress allowed Congress to stipulate parameters of the investigation. That law was sunseted and no longer applies. Instead we have the special counsel section of the Code of Federal Regulations
"28 CFR 600.1 - Grounds for appointing a Special Counsel.
Grounds for appointing a Special Counsel.
The Attorney General, or in cases in which the Attorney General is recused, the Acting Attorney General, will appoint a Special Counsel when he or she determines that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted and -

    (a) That investigation or prosecution of that person or matter by a United States Attorney's Office or litigating Division of the Department of Justice would present a conflict of interest for the Department or other extraordinary circumstances; and

    (b) That under the circumstances, it would be in the public interest to appoint an outside Special Counsel to assume responsibility for the matter. "

There is no restrictive language on his scope of inquiry in the rule. He goes looking wherever he deems appropriate for wherever he thinks criminal violations may exist, unless someone in authority tells him to stop. That would be.... The AG who recused himself, so his assistant, but nobody is inclined right now, and Trump keeps on insulting anyone through the media who might be. Its going to look like someone is caving to Trump's pressure if they give any orders to the office of the special counsel. Who wants that reputation among their colleagues that they have to look in the eye in courtrooms for the next decade?

Trumps cultists are openly showing their contempt and resentment of having the truth come out in these investigations. The same crowd that rooted for 22 BENGHAZI investigations that found nothing. Interesting...no?

Mueller is the left's last hope. (Of course, theyll find another fantasy to chase once he falls flat.)

What it comes down is that they cant find any dirt on him, so theyre going after anybody Trump ever shook hands with. Its one thing to stumble onto a crook... quite another to implicate the president in someone elses crimes.

That is if there WERE any crimes... besides Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Susan Rice, et al.
