Where exactly is it wrong? Please tell us. If it's so wrong then that should be easy for you, no?
    Have a great evening.

    Cute post. I like it.
But in actuality, the goal of Islam is to have all Infidels under the control of Islamic Law - veiled women, women getting only 1/2 the inheritance of the (apparently superior) man, gays being slaughtered, etc. Not necessarily to kill us all. As long as we bow to the dictator Allah, we'll be spared. But Q9:5 says to just kill those, so there are exceptions.

I can't bow to any non-scientific belief (Jesus/Moses/Mohammad, etc.), so that won't work for me.

The funniest thing is, Islam will die the same they all people on Earth become Muslims (well, perhaps little before that) - it's just there will be no no-muslims left to plunder, conquer and kill.

You are apparently against hatred - I admire that.
But I'm not 100% sure that you are. So can you condemn the hatred that Muslims teach their children when they give their children "the best book of all time" no less - Quran 48:29 which says "Mohammed is God's apostle. Those who follow him are harsh to the unbelievers but merciful to one another"? Surely you can condemn bigotry like I do, no? If you can't condemn bigotry/hatred then you are no better than the bigoted haters, I'm afraid.

Can you RiseAgainst bigotry/hatred by condeming the bigotry/hatred in Q48:29? A tolerant person does not tolerate bigotry/hatred, obviously.

I have my problems with Islam. But when an even more wicked ideology than even that comes after it it's my duty to defend them.

The MSH religion terrifies me to the point where I'm afraid this particular religious group is going to throw all the Muslims they can find in the ovens. I can't allow such atrocities to take place. Just look to the Nazis for reference first it starts out as hate speech such as this thread and then it moves on to action.

Indeed. This is why I'd like to see people back off the xenophobia. Left unchecked, it leads to atrocities.

You misunderstand MSH, I'm afraid. See we are probably more ethical than you are, since we will condemn god/Jesus/allah for, in the after-life, allegedly doing far far worse to the Jews that Hitler ever dreamed about. Can you condemn god/Jesus/allah for treating the Jews (in the after-life) far far worse than Hitler ever dreamed about treating Jews in his concentration camps (and for much much longer)? Can you RA? Seems reasonable to condemn things that are far worse than even Hitler, no?

Then you will condemn the Islamic texts for its hatred of non-believers, no?

    So which is more xenophobic?
    A. Modern Secular Humanism which teaches to love gays and non-believers.
    OR
    B. The Abrahamic faiths which teach to KILL gays and approve of TORTURING non-believers (Jesus/Mohammad said non-believers don't get into that xenophobic place in the sky, but will get brutal torture instead.)

You seem to think that pointing out texts that say to hate others is hatred itself....it's not - it's truth telling, and trying to show people a more loving way.

So apparently you can't bring yourself to do the morally right thing and condemn the bigotry/hatred in Q48:29? Or should we just bury our heads in the sand and allow that bigotry/hatred to remain unchallenged? It's from "god", no less - keep that in mind.

Where have I ever said I hate Muslims - I only point out the atrocities that the Islamic texts promote or justify. I love Muslims.

Canell, is it just me, or do you see a pattern on this thread that everybody (besides you and I) can't condemn the hatred/bigotry in the Islamic texts? It's almost as if they are EXCUSING hatred/bigotry - and being incredibly hypocritical in the process. They seem to be running interference for those barbaric texts.

Well kind of. It's okay when the religious right does it because they have moral principles from the Bible grounding them and preventing them from committing atrocities. (I know Christianity has its history where people have acted against the teachings of Christ)

But a modern secular humanist has no such moral Authority that he looks up to. So the ends of evil that this particular religious group can commit is Limitless.

So then can we both agree that the action of torturing Jews, like Jesus/Hitler/allah/god will (allegedly) do or did, is immoral? I assume that we can at least agree on that?

For some reason this kind of comment makes me imagine some deranged mother violently stabbing her child multiple times screaming that she loves him.

I think youre barking up the wrong tree.

I don't think theyre hesitant to criticize, I think they agree with the radicals point of view.

You don't seem to understand that the hero of the Bible killed all innocent first-born sons in Egypt.
You don't seem to understand that the hero of the Bible "blesses" people who "dash babies against rocks" (Psalms.)
You don't seem to understand that the hero of the Bible committed genocide that killed more than Hitler's genocide (the "flood") - and was so barbaric that even Hitler didn't kill virtually all the innocent animals in the process.

Are THESE the "moral principles" that you speak so highly of?

I'm driven by what's best for humanity....religious people clearly are not.

So you're against parents being ok with stabbing their children, apparently? So you, like me, condemn Christians/Jews for being ok with Abraham (the father of their religions) for being willing to do that same thing to his own son because he heard voices in his head? Can we at least agree on that, my friend?

So it's worse than I imagined.
Clearly faith is causing untold problems in the world today (things that remove people from reality tend to do that, of course.)

Regardless of ones mistakes. Jesus told us to call out evil when we see it. Today if one does that, it is them who is shamed, mocked, ridiculed, and not the person who did the evil. For those with a mind, it's obvious what type of society America has become, and is becoming.

    Isaiah 5:20 KJB-
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

This is exactly what our entire country has become. For those who do not do this (put evil for good and good for evil), they also say and do nothing about it. Evil will always prevail, when good men do nothing.

I think love Muslims more than you do - will you condemn Mohammad as being a bad influence on Muslims where he had sex with a 9 year-old girl?

I don't love anybody but myself and the people close to me. Saying you love strangers is a creepy thing to say.

Ok, Jesus I'm calling you out - you were evil (or at least racist/ethnicist) when you said that you were only here to help one particular racial group (the "Israelites") in Mt 15:24. Is that what you meant, jrr777?

Can you join me in condemning racism - such as Jesus' racism/ethnicism, jrr777?

In all fairness, Buddha was a racist and sexists as well, as in his "32 Signs of a Great Man", #14 was a certain skin color (not surprisingly his OWN skin color.) Hitler and the KKK also favor a certain skin color. He was too much of a sexist to say that women could be Buddhas (they can't), and he could of course had said "32 signs of a great PERSON", but he was too sexist to do that.
