My President Barack Obama Deserves Respect.

Maybe you don't like Obama for whatever reasons, but it has come to my attention that the office and the person in it, deserves respect.

You all know, how you howled and cried when people called George Bush the smirking chimp.

I don't much like the overtones of loads of posts that compare Obama in a disrespectful way.

So, let's see a little respect for the office and the person who resides in the White House.

I have also noticed a lot of disrespect for his wife, his children and just about everything the man stands for.

Look in the mirror before you trash the man and his office.

The Obama haters are a bunch of low-class losers, as evidenced by their posts, so they will not even consider acting adult as you have requested.

 

I judge people by their actions not by the position they hold. Both Bush and Obama have done great harm to this nation and its people, for that they deserve to be disrespected.

I agree. I believe the office of the President always deserves respect. To deny that just makes our country look shameful. That doesn't mean you cannot disagree and move to replace him. It is possible to still remain respectful, and I think alot of people forget that.

 

Yes, I have seen this evidence and it is quite appalling.

 

They still haven't gotten over it. Next election is gonna be a hard rain to fall when Obama wins, once again, lock, stock and barrel.

I did not like Clinton on a political level.

I did not like Bush on a political level.

I do not like Obama on a personal level.

I know who he has hired, what he has slid under the door making appointments, his racist background, his signing treaties without congressional oversight.

So on a personal level means the person not the politician. He has been pretty much a limp dick as far as working with congress in my opinion though the funny thing is his party did not help him out many times.

Yup he got in because of the novelty. The color of his skin not the content of his charter.

 

I don't understand your post. You clearly don't have much respect for Bush, so why, by your standards, should people then have respect for Obama if they disagree with their policies?

 

Wow, are you socialists ever getting desperate to find a good word about the total loser in the white house. You can't find anything to cheer about with his failed policies over 3 years, and so now you want to get people who have been harmed by this jerk to somehow turn a cheek and start respecting this guy?

You should have heard Romney's Nevada winning speech tonight where he said that instead of speaking down on America like obama did with his apology tour, that obama should be apologizing to Americans for his attempt to destroy our nation while failing to secure our borders.

 

I personally respect the Office of the Presidency. But I have lost any respect I had for the man who now occupies that office. Although, if I met him, I'd call him, "Mr. President" and treat him with the respect that the office holder should be afforded....but that wouldn't change the fact, I don't respect him, the man, for the job he's done.

Starting with the lies he told in his infamous speech at the 2004 DNC convention where he uttered the line, "There are no red states, there are no blue states, there are the United States of America." And then as soon as he got into office, he almost immediately began to divide this nation. Starting in April of that year when he involved himself in a local issue and stated the "police acted stupidly" I knew that he was not what he pretended to be. And then all the way up to the latest.....dividing the nation with his class warfare rhetoric and pitting one group against another. And then shoving down the throats of all Americans last year his Obamacare.....because the Dems controlled everything and where we were told we'd find out what was in it after it passed. I've never seen the nation so divided in my lifetime. I've never felt as if he was the president of all the nation.....even though he promised on his election night that he would be. I've never felt that he cared one bit about Republicans.....which means he doesn't care much for about 1/2 of the nation or more.

He's probably a nice guy if one meets him in person. But as president....no; he's been a huge disappointment. I think it will take years....maybe decades to undo the damage he's done.

 

Obama is doing the best he can with Most Republicans against Him. The Republicans Want the White House Back Real Bad. I think Most People Respect Obama. Obama Promised many Things to Get Elected. Now the Republicans will use this Against Him, so they can be Elected.
