So Adam & Eve are kicking back in the Garden when the talking serpent tells Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Joseph and Mary are ready to do the nasty when some creature tells then that they will bring about the tree of life.

In the Old Testament Joseph had dreams and tells his thuggish brothers and crazy father that they will bow down to him.

In the New Testament Joseph has a dream and thinks that his son will be a king.

In the Old & New testament everyone hightails it to Egypt.

Moses and Jesus both talk to God and they both come up with all kinds of rules that they impose on people.

Moses wanders in the wilderness for forty years; Jesus cuts it down to forty days.

Moses is big on sacrifices; Jesus sacrifices himself.

Abraham sells his soul for personal fame and fortune; Jesus says "No" when offered the same deal.

Ezekiel resurrected bones. Jesus resurrected Lazarus.

There are countless comparisons.

 

Thor has always been more real than Jesus to me. Besides Valhalla sounds like more fun than heaven.
