    I respect their genius plan to cheat the 2020 election. It worked! and that is not EASY to pull off. Much respect! I would love it if that genius can be directed towards some GOOD policies.

    Well I hope this does not lead to any attacks against you, for your post. Those posters would likely, then, not be respecting the intent of the thread. If that happens, though, I'm confident you will forcefully retort; and I'm pretty sure that you're tough enough to take a little flack.

    I have many things I liked about the pre-Trump Republicans. I'm a Democrat, but not an ideologue. There have been issues in which Republicans pre-Trump, were right and Democrats wrong (free trade, for example). There are also many areas in which they could have met in the middle, and didn't (abortion, for example).

    But I honestly can't think of anything positive in the Trump era. I'll have to say, and I don't know if this can be considered "positive", that I like Republicans who are trying to take back their party. And bring it back to being a conservative party, like it used to be.
