This is a stretch. They were not on the field and apparently had a whole group doing it during school hours. Seems to be more of a prank than a show of religion.

1) The teacher signed an agreement with the school when he took that job stating that he was not allowed to organize prayers with his students. He viloated the terms of his contract, that is why he was fired.

2) Those students were suspended for pulling a prank. NOT for praying.

Ever see anyone with even the tiniest degree of self respect spend Hours in traffic to watch cars going endlessly around in a circle in the hope of seeing a crash.

 

I do so enjoy how all these NASCAR fans claim to have a love of patriotism while also bearing Confederate flags, many times at the race.

 

It's their 1st Amendment right.

They mean everything. Nothing in their contracts prevents them from doing this. And not a single one has been fired

 

Their contracts specify what they do during the anthem. They are in violation of their contracts.

The players aren't dissing the union, they aren't protesting the flag, they aren't protesting the Anthem, and they are protesting veterans; that is all just straw men thrown out by racists trying to bury the lede of the reasons that they are protesting.
