Alexei Navalny issued a chilling warning about what a second presidential term for Donald Trump could mean in one of his final letters before he died in an Arctic prison last week.

In one 3 December letter to Evgeny Feldman, a photographer who covered his attempted run for president in 2018 and now lives in exile in Latvia, Navalny wrote that he feared that if anything should happen to President Joe Biden – a distinct possibility, he felt, given the American’s advanced age – “Trump will become president”.

To Navalny, a second Mr Trump term was a “really scary” prospect for the wider world.

The scale of the Navalny propaganda campaign is fairly astounding.

The US and UK services and NGOs appear to be maximizing the return on their investment.

But Navalny appears to misunderstand US politics as badly as Russian politics.

 

Ok, so basically, to inform you, the American public don't like the direction that Biden is taking the country and that's why they will vote for Trump.

• Some of the reasons include sticker-shock from the higher prices on groceries and other items because of inflation.
• They don't care about the wars in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, or Asia. And they want us to defund those areas of international spending.
• Biden is old and has a **** VP.
• The deep-state has already decided that Trump will win the Presidency in 2024.
• ... and on and on...

Whoever says that Trump won't win is lying to you. The polls and election results so far speak for themselves.

 

Thanks for sharing your prediction of future events. IMO Trump would be a total disaster for US, and a gift to our enemies, which is why I do not want to see him win. I hope a 3rd option, like Haley or Manchin ends up in the WH.

He clearly misunderstood the danger of continuing his opposition to the Russian political establishment. I doubt that Putin ordered him murdered or even said "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" like King Henry II. He wouldn't need to.

Why would they, when Trump is the biggest Putin leg humper who ever lived? Trump has all but promised to quit the aid to Ukraine, which will guarantee Russia's win there, so of course they want him in the office.

Biden is an exceptionally weak screw up, even Obama said this,so, of course, Putin wants the weak and incompetent Biden to remain. Putin loves that the American president has dementia and is unable to do his job; that he spends his days drooling on himself, unable to remember what he was just told, and constantly crapping his pants because that is what dementia patients do.

Anyone other than Biden would be a step up and Putin knows it.

 

Me too. I think the DNC is smart enough to replace Biden but I doubt seriously it would be Manchin. If they don't replace him your worst fears will be realized. Haley is not going to be president.

 

Seeing Trump in the WH is the worst fear, but I do believe Biden will drop out.

She will be if Trump gets locked up. She would have no trouble beating Biden. If she runs against Manchin, then it would be a close battle.

I don't think Putin sees weakness considering his struggles in Ukraine, and lot of credit for it is due to US policy under Biden. He'd much rather see Trump in WH, who would cut aid to Ukraine and help Putin win the war. Common sense. Heck, Trump is already working on undermining US efforts to help Ukraine.

They don't have to agree, they just have to believe it is either not a problem (or good) for their interests. I suspect they didn't think his thoughts would move the needle either way on Trump vs Biden. Putin saying he likes Biden would help Trump because Americans dislike Putin. Navalny? Not going to change anything.
