You think all those cooks and clerks and technicians and truck drivers are "killers"? Killing and killers are only one dimension of the military's mission.

That's not something to be proud of. If they was killing and fight for the truth, that's another story. But they care not of the truth, and specifically kill for liars and deceivers. Unless of course you think the government tells the truth.

The "fact" that our government is filled with lies and deceptions is not an "opinion" at all.

 

So you believe the actions of these 2/3 represent the SEALS as a whole?

 

Pride in the warriors of the tribe is universal.

Warriors fight. Leaders determine who to fight. Denigrate leaders, but denigrated warriors who when called to action are prepared to fight and die to protect you, clearly demonstrates you lack both understanding and perspective.

 

Warriors fight, and ideally at least, men think. Are warriors allowed to think? Are they allowed to exercise their conscience, or must it be kept restrained?

I wonder which category these men fall into, assuming they did kill the soldier? I wonder which category Lt. Calley fell into?

 

If you want to justify killing in the name of lies and deceptions, your going to have a difficult time. If your justifying killing for the truth, it's rather simple.

Exactly, hide the truth (classified top secret), you get wars. Know the truth, and justice is already there. Hide the truth, and justice cannot be found.

 

know the truth and justice is already there? NONSENSE. Justice must be administered and the truth is that many require such administration.

 

What? If you witness someone killing another, the justice is there. How to go about that justice is entirely different than knowing the truth of the matter. For instance, if the killer was the son of a tyrannical king, and the king did nothing about it. The justice is still within the minds of the people, and the killer would be treated accordingly.

Nobody is going to allow OJ Simpson to babysit their kids. Yet he was innocent. You see how the justice is already there.

 

Not really. People do it with shotguns all the time.

 

I wonder if suicide with a shotgun, is only making sure things go as planned.

 

sadly what I see has little to do with justice.

 

My guess is the best 'specialty' military groups are those that few have even heard of.

Often, I find, that if a specialty unit truly did it's job well, then you had no idea what they even did AND/OR assumed what they did actually was the result of someone/thing else entirely.

 

We are a nation of warriors. We get restless when there is no action.

What I believe is that Americans should all go home and kill each other there instead of killing everything that moves "over here".
