In this case, the cop acted stupidly.

Yes, I know what breaking up a fight is. (it's usually a way to get your ass kicked over a dispute that didn't involve you)

Do you know what "wait for all the facts" means?
Do we really believe last 3 seconds of an edited video are all the facts?

When I see the video, I'm disgusted. But guilt isn't based upon emotion. If he's a bad cop, send him away until he draw medicare. But please......do it with the facts and not emotion.

 

The problem with libs in general is that they've never really been in a fight. They're aren't used to the violence and have no idea of what it takes sometimes to stop it. The biggest bar fight I ever saw involved a the sister of fairly well known martial arts stunt man. She was as good as he was and ultimately she had to be knocked cold with a nightstick. She was lucky she was a girl, because if she was a man she would have gotten shot. She was no more than 110lbs. A good buddy of mine took a knife through his vest trying to be a nice guy breaking up a fight with a couple of bar rats he didn't think were a threat. I had a "conversation" with a guy whom I'll call Kenny who told me it took the entire on duty force of a small town PD to take him in while drinking in a bar. When I checked on it he was absolutely right. In short, you'd better shut these things down quickly or they will get out of control pronto. LEO's are going fetal now because they can't do their jobs anymore. I'd put big money that the girl was clearly engaged in a knockdown drag out. The standard excuse is always " I was trying to break it up." You simply have no idea of what you're dealing with.

 

Give us a story of a 100lb girl in school knocking out a grown man and you might be on to something. The above examples don't have a damn thing to do with the incident at hand.

 

I do not recall reading these things happening in the EU or Canada. Than again, those countries don't got such a problem with the fail war on drugs and the absolute massive incarceration of the population, a police forge getting their hands on military equipment and military training as if they are fighting their daily war in Syria.

 

I can live with that. See how easy it is to call a spade a spade? No trying to diagnose the reason that the cop did what he did. Sometimes people are just (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s.

 

Yeah it does. Thug rat kids are exposed to violence from a young age. In fact it's pretty normal for them. The expect it and many actually enjoy watching it or instigating it. I didn't say everyone but enough of them do.

 

Ok, so please tell us how you gain control of a girl who is in the middle of a swinging fight and not obeying orders to stop? Do you gently tap her on the shoulder? Do you think you can just tough both arms and she stops moving? What happens when she doesn't? What happens when she keeps resisting, swinging, kicking, etc.

 

So if it is a black kid they are automatically a "thug rat". That pretty much speaks for itself.

Lets say that she was doing all of the above.

As a grown man I don't need to pick up a 100lb girl and body slam her on a concrete floor to remove her from the situation.

I work for the largest school system in the state of Georgia, I have seen my share of fights broken up in middle and high schools. I have never seen a Resource Officer pick up a girl and slam her to the floor to break up a fight.

That BS is nothing more than a cop-out to try and defend this officer's cowardly behavior.

 

Didn't say that, you did. Still the record for predominately Black HS's is really pretty dismal and has very few exceptions in the public school systems. Why do you suppose that is? Just getting them to graduate is an accomplishment even with the most minimal of qualifications. Sad.

 

So how do you know the kid in this video is a "thug rat"? I am going off of what you posted. Because black kid's don't come from a rich home doesn't make them "thug rats".

And I didn't say this girl was doing any of those things. That's the missing part of this story, we don't know what went on prior to the officer throwing her down.

 

I have seen Resource Officers get into the middle of fights in HS and middle schools where kids are punching, kicking, etc. and I have never seen one pick up a kid and slam them to the floor in the manner. Especially a male Resource Officer doing that to a female student.

One officer grabs one kid and another officer grabs the other and separates them and neither one of them is slammed to the floor in that manner.

 

No it doesn't, however the probability of this is a lot higher than in the general population. This is what I find interesting. Somewhat before my time in what was termed segregation, Black schools were much better. Coaches and very tough teachers kept order without the need for policeman. Outcomes were better. BUT t took very tough discipline to do so. You're not going to get this with the liberal agenda.

 

Really, how many conservative parents are ok with their children being paddled in today's society? Not many. Its not just liberals, its people in general.

When I was coming up in school most of the teacher's lived in the neighborhood. Went to church with you, etc.

That is not what is happening in today's society.

The biggest problem with many schools is no parent involvement.

Pfffffft. Don't talk (*)(*)(*)(*) unless you know someone. I've been a bartender and bouncer for years. I've hit a drunk with a baseball bat. My ex-husband made the mistake of hitting me once. I broke his nose. I've broken up several fights. So, next time you can keep your assumptions.

The veracity of your statements is of significant concern. Spare me the BS. In virtually all locales, the amount of physical force a so called bouncer can apply is limited with most cities requiring a licensed peace officer for physical security and application of force.
