Obama is starting a slow campaign of conditioning the people to accept war with Iran. Unfortunately if any nation, even more than N. Korea, deserves to be decimated it's Iran.

Believe it or not, Christians come in many flavors regarding the Jews, most of which you'd disagree with on principle in any event. Paranoia about Jewish conspiracies

Jews are said to be paranoid, but I think that there's far greater paranoia about a supposed Jewish conspiracy to control the United States government and use it for the sole purpose of protecting the security of Israel.

If this is true, then it has to be the least effective conspiracy ever. The most obvious way for the United States to protect a foreign country is to put a military base there. The existence of a U.S. military base means that an attack on that country also becomes an attack on the United States, the most powerful military in the world.

There are major U.S. military bases in the following countries (source):

Bahrain
Belgium
Germany
Greece
Iceland
Italy
Japan
Netherlands
Portugal
Saudi Arabia
South Korea
Spain
Turkey
United Kingdom

Israel is not on the list. One can only conclude that defending Israel is actually a low U.S. priority compared to defending countries like South Korea and Spain.
