no, its Israeli law, not Jewish law.

Jewish law does NOT ever recognise inter-faith marriages, but Israeli law does.

This has nothing to do with the Iranian government. The hatred Saudi Arabia has goes back centuries. It's the same as the hatred the Catholics in Eastern Europe have towards Orthodox Russia. It's because the Sunni culture is aggressive and Iran wouldn't let them take over the Middle East, the same as Russia wouldn't allow the Catholic nations to take over more of their lands.

Greedy and aggressive nations like people, have an innate hatred towards those who hinder them. My grandson said when he was in college, that his Saudi friend said that they would kill all Iranians if they could.

Putin wants to be on good terms with everyone in order to foster trade and peace. It's part of his political philosophy. Russia has no reason to get involved in a war between Israel and Iran, anymore than they have a reason to get involved in the fighting between the Kurds and Turks.

Syria though is a different matter, and Russia promised Assad that they will help Syria retain its territorial integrity. Putin doesn't back down on his word and considers disloyalty the greatest offense. Moscow though will not get involved in a dispute between Netanyahu and Iran since they are both in the wrong, unless it hurts Russia's and Syria's long term interests.

Vladimir Putin unlike other world leaders has moral integrity, as well as self interests. There is no way Russia will allow Saudi Arabia with its murderous Takfiris, or Washington with its murderous One World Order freaks to gain a foothold in Iran since it would be a threat to Russia. The only reason Russia became involved in Syria was to keep the Shia crescent intact. The Shias form a barrier and protect Russia's southern flanks from the Takfiris in the Gulf states..

As for Iran's advances into Syria, that's a different story. It is a problem for Israel and there is no reason why Russia should be facilitating the one or the other, no more than it will facilitate the Turks or the Kurds in Syria.

Anyway things never turn out as planned, especially if Washington is involved - so expect the worse. It's coming!

So when one actually reads the document in question.

Given what we now know about the "witnesses" - that they were Al Qaeda affiliates such as the "White Helmets" - a group known for propaganda and determined creators of false flags ... how reliable are these witnesses.

"Reasonable Grounds" - is not proof by a long shot. Given what we know about these "witnesses" it is quite unreasonable to attribute any reliability.

Further - it is obvious to anyone other than an idiot that the rebels will conduct false flag chlorine releases while the enemy (the Syrian Army) is dropping barrel bombs.

Obviously they are not going to do chlorine releases when the Syrian Army is not attacking. This would be pointless.

That Chlorine smell was coincident with dropping of barrel bombs is not proof of anything. Given that we know the rebels were producing and using Chlorine - as numerous labs have been found in towns that were occupied by the rebels - the fact that there was Chlorine smell could be coincident with a release of Chlorine by the Rebels or that a bomb hit one of these labs - labs that the SA would want to target if they knew of their existence or hit by accident.

Russia is all mouth....I agree that they will do nothing. Sure, they'll huff & puff and remind people of their "superior' weaponry, and they'll even put forth some 'motions' at the UN but little else. As for those Islamo-Fascist thugs in Tehran, it's time the world is freed of their terrorism!

Let's be a little honest here, Israel is not the only nation that has done that. The difference is that people get on with their lives, but not the Muslims - why?

Yes and Syria has a mutual defense agreement with Iran.

If Iran is attacked by Israel, Russia would likely provide support to Iran, albeit probably discretely.

The civilians and doctors in Douma say that there was no chemical attack, or isn't that what the MSM is telling you?

Maybe because I know history and you don't.

What part of .... "witnesses detected a chlorine smell" during barrel bomb dropping - a smell which could have come from the rebels releasing chlorine during a SA attack or by one of those bombs hitting one of their chemical weapons factories ... did you not understand.

Obviously some people are going to be exposed to gas from a release by the rebels or from hitting a chemical weapons lab .. and these people later treated by doctors.

None of the above is proof that Assad did it .. and nor does the UN account claim this. Considering we know far more about the chemical weapons use and capabilities of the rebels than previously - the "reasonable grounds" comment is no longer that reasonable.

I don't think any people who's nation is ACTIVELY being occupied is just "going on with their lives", as if everything is fine and dandy.

Would Americans just "go on with their lives" if Russia or any other nation was to invade and occupy the country?

It's not their land. They rejected the deal in 47 and so they have no claim to any land in Palestine or Israel.

Since they were there BEFORE 1947, I'd say they DO have a claim to the land.

Hell, the land IS called Palestine in the Bible.

Not that I'm religious, just saying, the Palestinians have BEEN there since BEFORE there was a U.S .

That's what I think too, although the Iranians are pretty smart and I'm sure they have their own weapons. Any takeover of Iran, (which will probably be impossible), would be a long term threat to Russia.

The UN never said any such thing. The NYTimes had to retract their statement.

The UN says the Syrian govt. used chlorine gas against civilians.

    this is a fact.

    http://www.ohchr.org/EN/HRBodies/HRC/RegularSessions/Session27/Documents/A_HRC_27_60_ENG.doc

Government forces continued to perpetrate massacres and conduct widespread attacks on civilians, systematically committing murder, torture, rape and enforced disappearance amounting to crimes against humanity. Government forces have committed gross violations of human rights and the war crimes of murder, hostage-taking, torture, rape and sexual violence, recruiting and using children in hostilities and targeting civilians. Government forces disregarded the special protection accorded to hospitals and medical and humanitarian personnel. Indiscriminate and disproportionate aerial bombardment and shelling led to mass civilian casualties and spread terror. Government forces used chlorine gas, an illegal weapon. "

This is a ridiculous and outrageous notion.

So if I come to YOUR home, guns drawn, offer you a closet to live in, would YOUR home become MY home if you refused my offer to live in a closet of YOUR home?

I did quite a few times, there is no such link. Maybe you're thinking of some 'made up' report that was later thrown out.
